"Time is money in this biz." It sure is and a big WASTE OF TIME if you take your chance with this vendor. They made the cardinal mistake with providing a quote without an on site inspection. Furthermore, the quote given will be the lowest at first (if shopping for estimates) and will change during the process. Gave them 2 weeks of make up time and told them of my completion deadline. I beleive in 2nd chances and at both times no service rendered. Late cancellation the day of project with no show and calls. He even offered to throw in free concrete stamping or colored concrete, but unfortunately had cried wolf too many times and lost me as a customer. Additionally, i had to reschedule with my turf vendor who was very accommodating. The phone calls and text messages sounded juvenile and made me question their professionalism. We contracted to have our natural lawn replaced with Synthetic Turf. We desired a clean look that divided our lawn from our neighbors and contacted John to install a concrete "Mower Strip" on the property line. John also recommended installing curbing around our shrubbery for an attractive look. John and his team arrived after the turf crew cleared the lawn. Within a hour, John and his crew installed the straight divider strip and the curved curbing. Wow! What a fantastic look. Loved his work!! We had John of Crazy Curbs put in mow strip in our front and backyard. He did an amazing job and was very reasonably priced and hardworking. We are so happy with the end product. He and his men were very professional and courteous. On top of that, after they left, our dog accidentally stepped on the wet concrete and they came back and fixed it for free! Terrible work from this unlicensed Contractor. They didn't mix the right color proportions to the concrete and I have different colors from dark brown to tan. He came back to fix and he bleached the concrete then left me some stain and a sprayer and said to finish it after it cures for 30 days. Do not hire this company. His license expired more than 6 years ago. I am going to sue him to try and recover some of the monies paid. Had another curb extruder check his work and he said it was sloppy and unprofessional. read more

John showed up to do some mows curb in our backyard. We basically gutted our sod and wanted to find a way to lessen the amount of new sod/water usage, so we went with this. His quote over the phone was 100 % dead-on. He came to our home with an upbeat, positive attitude, laid it out, and made sure the square footage/pricing lined up with what we had discussed. He was very thorough and meticulous with his work. Although the process was louder than expected, (damn neighbors), they were quick and precise. We are stoked with his workmanship and knowledge of what he did. I would have given 5 stars, except, he was a bit later than the anticipated start time, without a heads up. Had about 120 linear feet done in one morning. My wife and I were extremely happy about the job these guys did. The job is backed up by a year guarantee, so piece of mind is there. Height is about 5 inches, but the guys do prep work around slab areas to have it meet up with the existing height. read more
