We visited this spot on a recommendation from a friend who lives in the area while we were visiting near Branson (from Chicago). It was definitely a great choice. We came in and everyone greets you and immediately hands you a shot to kick things off (love this)! We tried the smoked pork quesadillas and several signature drinks that I can't really remember the names of to be honest but they were all amazing and delicious. The one drink I do recall was the Curious Monkey and it was bartender's choice and whatever he put in it was perfect. The vibe was fun and the staff were all really friendly. All the servers and bartenders work together on all the tables and bar as a team approach, which I thought was really beneficial. Really fast service because of this. Fun atmosphere. Staff were very nice and welcoming. Food was good. Frankly the brisket sandwich didnt look like much when it came but it made up for it in flavor. Happened upon this bar while driving around Table Rock Lake. The name was catchy so we had to stop. Craig asked if it was our first visit and toasted us with two complimentary monkey fuel samples. They have an entire menu of fruity cocktails as well as an expansive beer selection . Wish it would have been later in the day because it looks like it would be a fun place to hang out when it's closer to happy hour. Enjoyed a few drinks and some chips and queso. Nebraska fans do not need fooled by the fact that the owner is a husker fan. The game shows, but a dj started playing very loudly after halftime. Never got to hear the game. Should have stayed on our hotel! Absolutely insane. We did have tv, but not what they told us earlier in the day that game would be shown. It was a Friday game. This place is fun and friendly. We were provided with a delicious lemony shot upon arrival. Our server was extremely sweet and welcoming. The atmosphere was fun, the drinks were yummy and the bbq was super good. Our server made sure we knew they had a sister location in town also call Crazy Craig's Treehouse and gave us an invitation to visit there. We were going to go to another BBQ place and saw this along the way. Nice dive bar that's mostly a bar but has some BBQ well. We started off with a shot on the house (it was blue, not sure what it was). Then when you check in with Yelp you get a coupon for $2 off one of their specialty drinks. Went with a margarita, which was a little sweet, but did its purpose. With a group of 3 we split the pulled pork nachos and the brisket dinner, which was enough for 3 guys. Nachos were definitely good, it was a little veggie heavy, which was different for nachos, but still tasty and spicy enough when you add the jalapeños. The brisket was decent, very thinly sliced. The beans we had on the side had a nice kick to them as well. Loved the atmosphere. Lots of cheeky monkeys adorning the place. A very typical dive bar complete with good music, sports on TV and a couple of pool tables. Bartenders were all very good, quick with the food and asked us all our names, which was a nice touch. If you're looking for healthy or bougie this is not the place for you. It's ok for older kids but they don't really cater for the tweens and below. Not even allowed to sit on the patio. (Pretty unaccommodating for a tourist town. I will say this... Totally friendly... Samples galore... Cherrywood smoked pork shoulder and beef brisket. Loved the brisket a bit more... So this seems to be a watering hole for locals. It's a really cool fun bar and the food is delicious, I gave it 4 stars because they allow smoking inside so it does smell but it wasn't so bad we couldn't eat inside. They do have tables outside if the smoke bothers you. We ate a late lunch there so it wasn't crowded and we were served quickly. They bring a shot glass of one of their signature drinks to you when you first sit down. I had Monkey Fuel. It was awesome so I promptly ordered a glass of it. Yummy The wait staff is awesome and really friendly. Such a fun place We could tell lots of the people were regulars, I had a brisket sandwich. The meat was smoked to perfection and didn't need the bbq sauce that was on the side. The bun was soft and a perfect compliment to the meat. The coleslaw was a little dry to my taste but it tasted ok. My husband had Cheeky Nachos with ground beef. He really liked them . Love this place! On our last trip to Branson we stopped there twice. Great food and servers, ask for Kim, she won't remember your name but she will remember you! If your military or a veteran you can write your name on the wall. We ordered the sausage, brisket and quesadillas. The severs would stop by and ask "how's the BBQ sauce, we'd say great and they'd say we got it at Walmart in a deadpan way. Some people may call it a dive, we call it awesome! Bathrooms, yes but didn't use them so can't comment. Parking, there's plenty but not the smoothest. They also have bands and it's family friendly. Highly recommended. read more

Overall: Meh. When greeted they brought us a "shot" (1oz) of their mixed drink of the night. It's not a shot of liquor, it's 1 oz of a mixed drink. It was good. Drinks: Had several of their mixed drinks, very weak. All sugary syrups and very little alcohol. I'm rather disappointed, would rather spent those calories elsewhere. If you are a lightweight and like syrupy beverages, you will be in heaven. Prices are ok, but for the amount of liquor in them it's not. They are all sweet. Very sweet. Like Jolly Ranchers with a splash of booze. Actually...I would say they are all the flavors of different Jolly Ranchers. Food: Over all, it was good. They don't cut the large chunks of fat off their meat. I had their smoked brisket, the majority was fat. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the fatty bits too. I would prefer to have some meat with it. Busy bar and food place. Had 2 groups come in almost at the same time one for 50 and one for 60. Obviously popular. We like bars and this was one of the only true bars in Branson.
