The same night that I made the search, they called and made an appointment to come check my yard for burrow(s) the following day between 5:00-6:30pm. Called day of appointment to say they were running late, but would be by before dark to check the yard. I wasn't feeling well, so I told them to go into the backyard to check it out and send me a report/quote for their findings. Never got a report, quote or even a phone call regarding what they saw.

Normally I would not deal with this type of advertising but I am a 67 years old and was going to replace most of my rotted deck boards. I bought all of the wood that I wanted to replace. I did not trust him but he gave me a business card from this company and I looked online and figured that an established business would back their promises. I got a written contract and I was to pay when project was complete. 1) Remove handrails where needed 2) Remove rotten decking boards 3) Scab onto steps where needed 4) Install new decking boards and handrails. He also promised to clean up and remove all old wood and I was to pay when project is complete. He had a helper and they worked from 12:30 to 2:30 that day. They said they had to leave and go to the bank and asked for $275 and would return to finish the next day. I reluctantly gave them the money as I wanted to get the deck finished and they were leaving their tools in my shed. They came back the next day and worked 8:30 until about 11:00 and went for lunch before 11:00 and came back and left by noon and wanting the full amount that the contract said which was $575. The worker got verbally abusive when I told him that I would pay him when finished like the contract that he wrote was completed. They did not finish the job. Rushed work and left gaps between the boards that they did replace. I repaired the wiring on their cut circular saw that they cut. I did get at least my $275 money on labor. I notice that my 5 lb. hammer that I let them use was missing. I called the owner to complain and he claimed to have not known anything about this job. My wife said she heard the caller say his name when I called the office. I told the owner that my 5 lb. hammer was missing and he said that he would buy me a new one so I texted him my address and now it is nearly 15 months later, and I still did not receive the money for it. I wrote this to warn others who may be considering using this company.

Some say that the treatment of a companies employees will tell you a lot about the company. This is true. Compare other construction workers to their's. If this company can cut corners with building a home, they will do so. If they see problems with the workmanship by their workers and or contractors they are very likely not to do or say anything about it and hope that you will not notice it. If you do notice the problem they would try to ignore it. You've been warned. Do your homework. Talking to old employees/contractors that no longer work for them is also a good idea that will open your eyes to their business ethics. Check out the homes built from the low end to the high end and if possible speak to the owners. Please do your homework and save yourself a headache. Don't make the mistake others have made.
