Our longtime dentist retired and the next office I tried, Vacaville Dental Group, randomly stopped taking our insurance after onboarding all four of my kids. Instead of being upfront, they tried to charge us and kept saying they were "working on getting back in network." Weeks turned into months, my daughter needed a checkup, and the front desk response from a lady when I called was... let's just say, less than warm. Immediate nope. Cue Kids Care Dental, aka, why didn't we come here sooner?! This place is clearly designed for kids and parents who value sanity. TVs on the ceiling, sunglasses, headphones, and a calm, welcoming vibe that immediately lowers your blood pressure. The dentist is one of the kindest, most patient humans, she genuinely loves working with kids, and it shows. Every staff member was wonderful. While I was there, another little patient had a hard time leaving a toy behind, and an employee simply let him keep it. Meltdown avoided, mom relieved, kid ecstatic. I messed up the dates for my consult, it was actually Monday 11/29 but I came today . Luckily someone didn't show up and Dr. Anderson's staff took me in. I'm glad I shopped around. I had a consult last week with a DIFFERENT ortho in town and was quoted $5,610 for Invisalign with this vibrating "top notch accelerator" that was supposed to accelerate my treatment to 12 months. This was after the ortho looked into my mouth for a few seconds. Dr. Andersen was super professional and when he ripped open a new sterilized kit, looked at each individual tooth and started talking measurements and other dentistry things to his staff, I knew we were in business. He was honest and didn't try to sell me on anything. I now have an appointment in December for a four month treatment to take care of my bottom teeth and a top retainer to keep the top straight, all for about a third of the price the other ortho had quoted me. This place is great. I messed up on the date of my appointment so I was seen pretty quick, but if you have to wait a month or so to be seen here, it's definitely worth the wait.
