She was quick, thorough, personable and had many suggestions for curing a few other issues with my skin I had no idea would be future problems. Her treatment cured me in 3 weeks, I was tossed around for 4 months suffering bad results from different docs with zero results. Not with her, she cured me. I would highly recommend her to the discerning patient. The only thing I think needs improvement in her bedside manner is that she should suggest a generic Rx along with what she initially prescribes, because there are those of us on a fixed income. I have also been a patient for at least 30+ years. I have congenital moles (all over my face and around my eyes). He has removed over a thousand tags from my face and neck. She proceeded to give medical reasons based on my husband's complexion, making the assumption that he is caucasian. She also made a statement regarding him as not being black & when corrected remarked that he insists on faking that he is Jamaican. He is a very fair-skinned man of mixed race (black & white), which is stated on his paperwork, born & raised in Jamaica. We were both insulted and astonished by her unprofessional & rude mannerisms. This interaction not only turned us off on an interpersonal level, but also caused us to not trust her medical advice as she refused to take his complete genetic make-up into account.

When I arrived, Pam took my information and co-pay and asked me to have a seat in the waiting room. Pam is efficient, polite and a pleasure to deal with. I only waited 5 minutes past my appointment time before I was taken to an exam room by an assistant, Grace. Again, efficient and polite. The staff at WellAve is awesome. After a few minutes, Erin Brimhall, came in to perform the exam. She quickly diagnosed this gross thing on my neck and froze it off right then and there. I also have some weird thing going on with my arms. Erin recommended a steroid tape and told me how much my pharmacy would probably charge - $55 (she was correct, BTW). She told me if it was $55 and I didn't want to pay that much, she could prescribe a less expensive medication and to just let her know if I wanted to go that route. Erin first recommended the tape because it's way easier to work with than the topical cream. Good recommendation. She asked that I follow up in 6 weeks so she could check that gross thing on my neck again. Erin has a terrific bedside manner and doesn't rush through the exam. She takes time to be thorough and answers your questions. Back to Pam, who found me an appointment 6 weeks out at a convenient time. These people get it. When you make an appointment, you expect to be taken as close to your appointment time as possible. So many other practices just don't seem to care if they waste your time. Add the promptness to the capable, efficient and polite staff, and you've found the best dermatology practice in the area.
