Last years Festival was great..this years should be even better! The 2015 Cajun & Blues Festival,…read moresponsored by the Isleton Chamber of Commerce, held this Father's Day Weekend at E2 Family Winery on Highway 12 in Lodi, is dedicated to his memory this year, as every blues musician from festivals to the smallest of venues will honor his memory. All those players in every genre who loved him, will play the blues in honor of him as they have never played before! I first saw B.B King live at Crabshaw Corners in Sacramento when I was just a teen playing rock & roll/countrymusic as a harmonica player. I left that show a convert to the blues. While I learned to appreciate all blues, Billie Holiday, with her jazz styled infused blues, was my favorite female artist. B.B. King my favorite male blues artist. His pure original style making "Lucille" cry the blues every which way no other guitarist could, propelled B.B. to take his art-form worldwide. All the greats after him owe him homage as the trailblazer of American Blues.. While B.B. King had his influences from earlier blues figures, B.B. took the blues mainstream. Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix,, Elvin Bishop, just to name a few, all learned from... The Master. While "The Thrill Is Gone" his music and influence will live on. The lineup for this years Isleton Cajun & Blues Festival has some of the hottest acts in the business... and some of the best acts in Zydeco-Cajun Music from the Delta who will no doubt let their blues influence shine also. Should be the best festival yet! http://isletoncajunfestival.net/

However, there were hardly any cars, so we could do a slow, easy drive. It was still magical with lots of lights throughout this neighborhood. The standout feature was that the streets were lined with continuous strings of white lights that swagged down the participating areas, creating lit paths to follow. It was impressive! There were definitely some houses that went above, while others were more simple, but all delightful to see. Here & there, Christmas trees were in the middle of a court or roundabout. We aren't familiar with the neighborhood & lost track of how we meandered through, so next year we'll try to figure out a good route. We'll definitely plan to come back earlier during the next holiday season to enjoy the full experience.

Rockmont Lights in Natomas is all they say it is and more!…read more My friend, daughter and I wanted to check out Christmas lights last night and decided to check out Rockmont Lights instead of fighting the Fab 40's crowd. It was a first time for all of us and we weren't sure what to expect. We arrived around 7:30pm and it was already pretty busy, but we found some parking on a nearby street. Most of the streets surrounding Java Court were festively decked out and flooded with people - we made our way over to Java Court and I was so surprised to see a massive Christmas tree in the center of the court. There was Santa and The Grinch happily taking photos with families and a couple of fire pits that people were warming up by! They were handing out candy canes to passing cars and I believe they were even selling hot cocoa in front of a few houses! You can drive around the area, but I highly recommend walking it to fully experience the magic that Rockmont Lights has to offer! Make sure you bundle up though! Rockmont Lights definitely gives Dovewood Court and even some streets in the Fab 40's a run for its money! We will be visiting every year now and making it a new tradition!

Paul was the first person I called and just talking to him made me feel better. He is a kind and genuine person, and he accommodated us every step of the way. Even though he only had two weeks to prepare, Paul and his team absolutely killed it at our wedding! I've lost count of the number of guests who came up to us and told us that Smash City Band was the best live band they have ever seen. One of our groomsmen is a professional musician, and he could not stop raving about how phenomenal each member of Smash City was. He said this multiple times during the wedding night and then called us the next day to reiterate that point. Paul and his band not only saved our wedding, but they were also the reason why our wedding was so much fun and the best night ever for us and all of our guests. They were easily the highlight of our wedding, and they made us thankful that our original band canceled on us! I cannot recommend and praise Paul and Smash City enough!!!! Please hire them so I can crash your event and enjoy their performance again (haha jk about crashing your event! But I'm serious about you hiring them...)

My wife and I were looking for an officiant for our SF City Hall wedding in July. After scouring…read moreYelp and Google and coming across countless options that were not a fit, we had almost given up hope. Luckily, we discovered Ryan's page about a month and a half out from our wedding! Ryan's officiating services are unbeatable. From the moment we met him, we were relieved that we had someone young, well spoken and very professional. We were asked a series of questions to get to know us, but our conversation flowed so naturally that the questions just answered themselves through our normal discourse. We had many laughs, tears of emotion, collaborative moments, emotional moments, therapeutic moments, you name it! Our meetings felt comforting and genuine and I 100% guarantee that we could not have had that experience with another person. Ryan met with us very often prior to our wedding to make sure that the final script was right. He played well into our fun and joyful moments as well as our romantic side. Great and friendly sense of humor and a neutral perspective. My wife's side is Buddhist, my side is Catholic but his speech respected both sides without issue. He got to know us very well and it reflected in his speech. Our wedding was really small and intimate with only our immediate family present, but somehow it felt as if Ryan were one of us. We wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Highly recommend Ryan!! Thanks.

We met several times in the months leading up, and he took meticulous notes and was always thinking of ways to turn our love into an engaging story and theme for our ceremony. I highly recommend Ryan to anyone looking for an officiant; he went above and beyond everything we hoped for and truly cared about making our day the best it could be.

There's a reason she doesn't have reviews--she's not legitimate. Last night I texted her if she has…read moreany openings and she told me there is one. She had a promo for new clients of $40 for any readings. I contacted her because I still needed clarity that the first two people I went to could not provide. She asked me to send her $40 through CashApp or Zelle and I obliged. I sent her the money and she told me she's finishing up with a client. I should've seen the red flag. She was responding to my text WHILE she was with a client? How's that possible? Anyway, she then texted me that she will call me in the next 15-25 minutes and thanked me for my patience. So I wait, 9:30 rolls in and she didn't call. I followed up with text, no response. Now it's getting closer to 9:45 pm, no response. I followed up again with a text, no response. Now it's 10 pm. I followed up again and no response. I texted again and no response. I told myself giver her another ten minutes although my gut was telling me "nah that's too late." and I was right. DO NOT ask for phone readings from her. Do not use CashApp or Zelle because your bank cannot dispute that. Any psychic worth their scent will have credit card payments on their website because if they can't deliver the services, you can stop that payment so they don't get it. I paid her money for services to which she failed to deliver. If there was an issue that should have been communicated with me. I texted her to give me a refund, it is now 10:30 am and there is still no response from her. I doubt she'll refund my money. For someone who claims they're there to help, not communicating is a big as* red flag. DO NOT use her services. Her name on her CashApp is different from "Anne's"-- why are your names different? Sh*** that's another red flag I ignored. She took advantage of my confusion about my situation, took my money and ran. If she has a rebuttal, I'd like to hear it so I can counter and provide proof of my claims--which are true. Look at the time stamps on the photos. You have been warned.

Absolutely love love her she's straight forward on point and I highly recommend her I already did…read moreto a few ppl
