We walk in and order off the menu that is written in chalk above the register. There are no prices on anything. I find that very odd. I asked her how much the sandwiches were and she said between $15 and $16 each. I opted for the turkey Swiss with a side of chips. I did remove the sprouts from the sandwich and asked for ciabatta instead of multigrain. I was given an option for a side of chips, coleslaw, or carrots. They had a few bakery items. I looked at the scones which look like ciabatta bread. They were very small and cut like a triangle. The brownies that were in the refrigerated case were rock hard. So I ordered neither. The sandwich was fine. Way too much lettuce. Not enough turkey. Bread was more of a roll than a ciabatta. Soft and dry. Love the atmosphere. Bored with food. Annoyed by lack of personality and kindness from the tattooed girl at counter. Only mentioned tattoos as other two ladies in restaurant did not show any. I give this place 3 stars.

What I received was 2 eggs over easy, soggy non browned potatoes, whole wheat bread and 1 cup of coffee with no refills ever offered. He appeared to be the only one there, so when he said "before I take your order. Im going on break", we felt that maybe this "smoke break" was necessary. Upon his return he really didnt listen to our order as he messed up many items from the get go. He took our order, went to the table behind us took their order and then proceeded to take someone else's order before making ours. He brought back 3 waters and one Dr. Pepper. This was wrong. We didnt order a Dr. Pepper. When confronted with this error, he argued with the fact that we ordered the drink, when in fact we ordered a sweet tea. This was delivered about 15 minutes later without any ice. Once he started making our meals, he only did one at a time. He served the first meal, a triple decker sandwich. We asked for silverware so we could cut the sandwich. He then started to make a BLT which we did not order. When asking us about it, he began to argue with us regarding our order. He then placed the BLT in a togo box and took a bite. He then delivered a chicken sandwich and was working on my friends breakfast meal. He had just started the chili dog meal at that time. Approximately, 10 minutes later he turned to me to ask if he had done something to my sandwich. My husband then replied we asked for silverware 10 minutes ago. The cook then stated "you dont have to be rude." He had just got done asking another male at the resturant what were the rules on refusing service. The other male stated he shouldn't refuse service. Back to the conversation with my husband, my husband kept saying he had asked for silverware and the cook kept saying ​​​​you dont have to be rude. He then said "you know what im going to refuse you service". From the moment we walked this cook did not seem to want to work or wait on the people in the resturant. He kept looking back at our table and arguing with us regarding our drink and food order. We are visiting from out of state and this truly was a horrific experience. They didnt have hardly any reviews and I am writing this so that others do not waste their time going to this particular Penny's diner in Glendive, Montana. They have a lot of service training to do before they deserve anyone attending their diner for any positive experience.
