    French Dip.
    Jared Y.

Staying in Sidney for the night and needed something to eat. This seemed like a good bet so I stopped by. There was another group seated at a table and a few people sitting at the bar. There was one young guy at the bar who seemed like he'd had a few of the house made beers already and he seemed a bit fidgety. He ended up drawing my attention to a long hallway just to the left of the bar because a couple different times he walked down that way. Maybe that's where the restrooms are? But then it seemed like one of the servers would follow him and that maybe they were having some drama. Then he came back and sat alone at a table near the bar and the server was back and fourth to the table and then having a little sidebar (literally to the side of the bar) with another employee. Anyway, sorry for the long introduction, sometimes I like to try to give an idea what it felt like to be in a place. My server was not as young (not calling her old) as the ones that seemed caught up in the drama. She came over promptly and got my drink order. I got an IPA, Badlands, it was very good. Later I ordered a Teddy Roosevelt, American Badass, an Imperial Wheat IPA, I really liked this one! To eat I got the French Dip. For the price I was pretty disappointed in the size. It had approximately the same footprint as a pizza pocket. Okay maybe a little bigger than that, but not by much. I picked both options, cheese and onions & peppers. Ended up not getting the peppers. Each option was an additional $1 bringing the price of the sandwich to $18. I don't normally complain about quantity vs cost, as I feel quality/flavor should be the biggest driving factor in price, this was a bit extreme. The flavor was good enough, the Au Jus was nice. Even though the bread was a bit small it worked well for the sandwich. Soaked up the Au Jus well without falling apart. My server was pretty awesome and honestly I was traveling alone and I enjoyed the show with the younger staff and their relationship drama. If the sandwich hadn't been abnormally small I would have given them 5 stars. This is a small town and I think Meadowlark Brewery is a great addition!

    French Dip

Ordered French Dip, side salad. Beef was not sliced but chipped strips? Different but tasty. Bread really fresh, au jus very salty. Service ok, pleasant but not present. Ordered a Black Steer's Tookus. Found it to be an good oatmalt stout. Modern, dark clean decor. Love the 'Head of the Table' seating.

    Meadowlark Harvester

I live in Houston TX, and had a friend bring me some of the Meadowlark Harvester beer down from Montana. I am seriously in love with this beer! I've been looking online to see if there is anyway I can have this shipped to me in Houston, but I can't seem to find any information out there regarding so. Seriously a huge fan of this beer! So if anyone knows of a way I can have this shipped to houston, please let me know. I would be a valued customer for life!!! :)

    Appetizers. Kid friendly.

Yes! All the way around. The food. The staff. The atmosphere. The variety! An incredible addition to this small town. We went recently for after school appetizers and can't wait to go back some evening for a dinner date.

a restaurant with a brick wall

This place made me happy :} While I didn't find a new favorite local beer (I'm a beaver creek fan), I appreciated the variety. What I absolutely loved was the ambiance. We don't get much "trendy" in eastern Montana, and when we do, they usually don't quite get it right. They got it right. Also, the food was good, the service was great.

This was an unexpected little find. Great service and cool atmosphere. The beer flights were awesome. I loved the pork belly tacos. Right amount of spice and excellent pork. Husband had the nachos and they were amazing. Great local brewed Beer!

My flight of 6 beers. All very drinkable.

Not a bad spot. Took a day trip here from Williston ND with friends. Large assortment of beers to choose from, decent food and nice decor.

Excellent beer, awesome place and a pretzel that is about as big as a toddler! Definitely will stop again when traveling through.

Service is slow. It was better under the old management. Now the food tastes processed instead of fresh.

We ordered the giant pizza pretzel immediately & opted to wait to see just how big it was before choosing a meal. Well, it's "no meal needed even when sharing" big. In the words of my hubby, "this should come with a warning" - pro tip: add the cheese sauce along with the marinara. Yes, it costs extra & totally worth it. It's a soft bread-style pretzel, not the traditional style. Think traditional peperoni pizza shaped like a pretzel. It's tasty! Now, I've seen complaints about no house brews. There were 3 house brews on tap when we were in. I will say you had to look for it on the menu. It wasn't in your face visible on the menu. The hubs tried 2 and said they were ok. I had the Summit Oatmeal Stout and it was deliciously creamy. Stuffed beyond reason, we still ordered the pretzel bread pudding with ice-cream. I was already tapped out and this was another giant serving. He gave it his all but it was another DNF. All in all, service & the food were good & the house beer decent. While the prices seemed high, the portions were huge, making the price per pound reasonable, imo. On exit, the sofa in the den-style seating area caught my eye. I told the hubs to offer them $3k for it... upon reflecting, I'd bump up to $5k - swoon!

Out-of-this-world good every bite feels like it was made with care and flavor in mind. From juicy burgers to perfectly cooked steaks and fresh apps, everything hits the spot. The drink menu is massive they've got a craft beer selection that could make a brewer jealous, plus cocktails that are dangerously smooth and totally worth the splurge. And the vibe? Unreal. The decor is freaking awesome a mix of rustic charm and modern flair that makes you want to hang out for hours. Whether you're grabbing dinner with friends, catching a game, or just soaking up the energy, this is the spot in town. Bottom line: Great food, killer drinks, and a vibe that can't be beat.
