Brownie sundae w/ Cookies n Cream, Chips Ahoy, and Hot Fudge. Ask for the brownie warm.
    Razaa A.

This place always hits the spot after having either Zareen's or Mazra. Their shakes are great, they have good ice cream flavors, and their brownie sundaes are totally worth it. There's another ice cream spot nearby but they try too hard with the flavors. I love that this place has your standard ice cream flavors and nothing too fancy. I got the brownie sundae this past time, without the whip and cherry. Highly recommend getting the brownie warmed, then cookies and cream ice cream on top with toppings of Oreo and hot fudge. You won't regret it! Too good!

Such a delightful treat! What a cute little spot. Very bright and colorful. I Was welcomed right away. Lots of flavors to choose from. Don't forget you get your first topping free. So, I went with banana ice cream topped with vanilla wafers. My daughter in law went with strawberry ice cream topped with fruity pebbles.

Cravings in Redwood City was the perfect late night dessert stop for us. After a late dinner down the street, we were happy to find this spot open and conveniently close to where we parked. The service was great, friendly and welcoming, and the ice cream was fantastic. We tried the mocha almond fudge, strawberry, and vanilla, and every flavor was creamy and delicious. There is limited seating inside but the cozy setup adds to the charm. They even had a fun little claw machine arcade game that added an extra bit of entertainment for the family. We had a great time enjoying our ice cream and spending time together. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and craving something sweet.

I will be 1000% honest, I was a little nervous about trying this place, but I was dead wrong. I got a doughnut ice cream sandwich and was worried the donut wouldn't be very fresh or soft, or that the quality wouldn't be there. NOPE. It was fire. I saw another review on here talking about the ice cream being mid, and I can't speak about their experience, but mine was really really good. I was genuinely impressed, and I really critic food. Price was a little higher, but honestly what isn't nowadays? Definitely worth a try. Especially the donut sandwich‍

I stopped by the shop for dessert--located on Main Street, away from the busyness of Broadway, it can be easily missed. It is across the street from Angelica's and Savers--for a bit of street orientation & if you are familiar with the area. The staff is friendly and the shop it brightly lit--very inviting. There's a couple of cute tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream. There a lots of flavors and toppings to choose. They also offer shakes, ice cream sandwiches and ice cream nachos. They are creative and offer mochi donut (scoop of ice cream on top of a mochi donut--alternate Mondays only) and "infused" ice cream--a mix of toppings with ice cream; order from the recommended menu or create your own (reminds me of Coldstone). So many things to try...I opted for the ice cream nacho, which is a scoop of icream and waffle cookie wafers assembled around it. Really cute presentation and delicious (& fun to eat). Cute little ice cream shop & if you're in the area, check it out! I definitely plan on returning.

S'mores shake. Missing the Hershey chocolate bar on top. $10.99 after tax. A bit watery.
    John N.

The shake was ok, but I felt it was priced a bit too steep at $10.99 after tax. I tried the "s'mores" flavor, which is chocolate & vanilla mixed together with a toasted marshmallow on top. It is also supposed to come with a Hershey's chocolate bar on top according to the description, but mine didn't include one. I don't know if the individual making it forgot, or if they stopped doing it altogether, but they should probably update the menu if it was the latter. Also, this is a nitpick, but at $10.99 I was really hoping for perfect consistency. And, well, it was just a touch too much on the watery side. Probably from adding too much milk. Maybe it can be fixed with some dialing in, but at these prices I really expect the training to be up to snuff. Overall, I don't think I will return next time I am looking for dessert option in RWC.

Ambiance: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 I'm always looking for new ice cream/dessert destinations and ventured here because of the positive reviews. First off, the reviews are right on point! The dessert options include a cookie sundae, ice cream nachos among many others. I thought the combinations would taste weird, but gave it a try anyway. We were blown away. We chose the s'mores cookie sundae. The cookie was delicious, had just the right amount of chewiness, crunch, and sweetness. For the ice cream, we chose mint chip and mocha almond fudge. I've had mocha almond fudge elsewhere that didn't taste great, but here, the coffee taste is rich and the fudge and chocolate drizzle was just the right amount. Toppings were plentiful. I love the vibe, interior design with the neon lighting, donut sprinkle stools. The staff are all so warm and attentive. They went out of their way to accommodate my son's allergen to peanuts, they washed the scoop, even checked for peanuts on the graham cracker packaging. We knew it didn't have peanuts since it's a common snack we have for the kids at home, but the fact that they went out of their way to check, warmed my heart. My kids raved for this and finished up the entire serving and asked if they could come back after dinner. Although we live in Palo Alto, it's close enough for us to venture to and definitely worth the drive!!!

Mocha chocolate chip shake was rich and satisfying. 5 out of 5.
    Saemlinh I.

Incredible customer service. All they WANT to do is help you make a decision. Great people work here indeed. A couple of tables were occupied. Not much space to sit in, but there is space outdoors. We got a Mint chocolate chip w/strawberries and a scorched earth marshmallow. The mint was a deep flavor and was some of the best we've ever had. We also got a Mocha chip shake, which was very rich and delicious. They use Loard's Ice Cream. I'm not familiar with them but it looks like they are based in Livermore. Definitely will return.

The ambiance is so cute. They have card games & a cute mini vending machine so bring some coins. The customer service was great & friendly! So many options to choose from & variations of combinations to make you can't go wrong.

Awesome new, kid friendly ice cream / cookie / milkshake / boba shop downtown
    Shirley L.

What a great kid (and adult) friendly addition to downtown Redwood City, conveniently located within walking distance from the library and restaurants to *not bribe* reward kids for great behavior. We came here during their soft opening and had ice cream (we did one medium two scoop with toppings and two junior scoops) and the S'mores milkshake - all were delicious, the experience was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend, either with your kids or late night after dinner and drinks without them thanks to their hours. Few things to call out: -Variety of options on the menu - ice cream, milkshakes, ice cream cookie and donut sandwiches, boba. Good amount of ice cream flavors, toppings, milk shake combos (or DIY) - Kid friendly - fun decor (macaron seats and bears), seating indoors and outdoors, and classic and fun flavors appealing to my sons. There is another ice cream shop downtown that my kids don't enjoy as much given the above) - Great staff and service - Super friendly, patient and helpful owner (who loves kids as a former preschool teacher!) and staff - Convenient and late hours for daytime or after-dinner treat or after dinner/drinks adult catch up - Great location within walking distance of library and restaurants, lots of free parking options nearby We definitely recommend this place, and will be coming back!

    Infused ice cream ube flavor!
    Golden H.

Cravingz is a great spot to get your ice cream and shake fix in Redwood City. They've just soft opened, but I can already see a bunch of things I can't wait to try. The infused ube ice cream was a refreshing and unique experience. They take the ube ice cream and put it on one of those cold ice cream platforms (the ones they use for rolled ice cream) and mix in Rice Krispies/coconut together, creating an interesting flavor and texture combo. I believe they also said they plan to offer rolled ice cream soon. Staff were friendly, very helpful and the decor is also pretty cute! They have sprinkle ice cream themed seats and even a little claw machine to win some cute plushies. Will definitely be coming back!

    Nadine

Their peppermint swirl is my go to cheat day drink. The combination of flavors is exceedingly remarkable, topped with white chocolate chips which I always save for last. One thing this store offers is superb customer service, and consistency. Additionally, as shown in the pictures, their interior ignites a healthy amount of excitement as it displays a colorful & fun filled setting. Special mention goes to their chairs, polaroid wall, claw machine, and doodle wall.

Chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich
    Alexandra I.

The lady was very helpful. No line when we got there. There are a lot of options for ice cream or any craving you have. I'm lactose intolerant so I tried the only 3 options they had for dairy free ice cream which was cookies-n-cream, coconut vanilla, and cookie dough which cookie dough was the best and most creamy-like for me. I got an ice cream sandwich with chocolate chip cookie and cookie dough dairy free ice cream and it was soooo good! The place is small with very little seating inside but looks like there might be some seating outside that can be used. I only took 1 star away because it was very pricey for some ice cream tbh.

The best thing we had all night was the mussels appetizer. The red sauce was genuinely phenomenal and the toasted bread with it was perfect. That dish alone gave me high hopes. Unfortunately, almost everything after that missed the mark. The branzino was deconstructed tableside, which was a nice touch, but the fish itself was thin, underwhelming, and still had bones throughout it. Then when we asked for more of the bread from the mussel dish, we got this giant puffed pita-style bread instead, which totally confused us. The salad barely resembled a salad. There were maybe a handful of arugula leaves with scattered toppings, and it just didn't feel balanced or thought out. Then dessert came out cold, stale, and to make matters worse, there was literally a bug in the sauce. The wine was good and the service team itself was friendly, but the meal felt like one strange disappointment after another. Maybe this place shines more with traditional Italian dishes, but based on this experience I don't think I'd come back.

Everything was beautifully presented. The workers were friendly too! Their items were a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality. Their spiral croissants were so much better than Fancy Flavors. It was flaky, buttery, and filled with delicious pistachio cream. This spot is especially great for more traditional flavors. The Anton Hokkaido Milk Crepe Cake wasn't overly sweet and the cream was light and fluffy. It was perfectly up to my standards when it comes to sweetness. I'd definitely come back again even if I'm willing to hurt my wallet because the sweets are just too hard to resist.

My family and I stopped by Marvel Cake during Mother's Day for a sweet treat on Sunday. This location is in the strip of Downtown Palo Alto and has limited parking (similar to the rest of the stores there, there is a lot of parking, and you will need to get lucky). My mom does like the Marvel Cake in their first location, so we swung by here to try this one out! Location-wise, this is a smaller shop than the original one in West San Jose with limited seating inside. I would say it's not work from home friendly however, I did see a college student next to me on her laptop so maybe I am incorrect here! The interior is nice and light, matching the elegance of the desserts. We ordered three items on the menu: the pillow cake, the bisou, and the blueberry lavender roll. Here are some thoughts: * Pillowcase cake: It may seem like this would be a fluffy cake due to the nature of its shape, but it is a gelatinous Jell-O cake with fruit jam. It was not bad, and tasted refreshing and light. I didn't know if I liked it at first, but ultimately I did come back for seconds and thirds, so this is approved. * Blueberry lavender roll cake: This was not at all what we were expecting. I did not taste any lavender, nor did it have a strong blueberry flavor. I think what threw our party off was the layer of gelatin that surrounded the cake. Texturally, we were not a big fan. * Bisou: This one was our favorite one. I appreciated the nutty crust in the bottom layer of the cake, while the filling was soft and bouncy. It is very sweet, however, but overall, I really enjoyed this one and feel like it would go great with a cup of coffee. What made the experience here a 3 instead of a 4 or 5 was the service we got. We weren't greeted when we came in, which, to be fair, is totally fine, maybe they were busy. However, the person helping us stared at us the whole time and did not really communicate well with us. When I tried to order the cakes for my family, they looked bothered that we were there, and I was not sure if they understood what pastries I was ordering because they did not repeat it back to us at all or confirm anything. When I did place the order, they slowly grabbed the plates and looked visually confused, which again, if they wanted to, I could have repeated it back to them. After they gathered everything, they put it in front of us and rang me up. The whole time, they did not say a word to me at all. Did not reconfirm anything, did not acknowledge we were there, did not say thank you. It was a bit strange, and I had to check with my family if it was me or if that was a really weird experience (it wasn't me).
