It's been empty for years. This is now a very good beer and wine store. Open and clean and well labeled, they carry a good selection of mid-level wines- nothing over $20 that I could see. Some hard liquor - some brands I'd never seen before which was neat. Excellent beer selection and a number of local places are here too. Medusa from Hudson is here. The sell lotto tickets too. Cashier was very friendly and helpful not only to us but others in the store. It looks like some other business was meant to go in here - I figured a brand new place would be sparking but the floor has had some repairs and there is open space towards the back. He then continues to give me the silent treatment and shuffles over to the next counter where he then finally decides to speak. He decides to talk extremely condescendingly and says "are you going to check out?" Not "I can help you over here". I then walk over to put my items on the counter and not even 1 second after the items hit the table he's once again talking to a customer like their 6 years old and saying "do you happen to have your ID?" Like maybe give me 5 seconds to get out my wallet. He then scans my ID and while he's doing that I'm grabbing out my card to pay, but that clearly wasn't fast enough for him as after he finishes scanning my ID he decides to wave it all around. He then asks, are you using card to pay? Like no I have my card out and ready to pay because i'm paying with cash Also, I'm not sure if it's because i'm a 24 year old female or if this staff member has always been disgusting towards customers (which from other reviews from a whopping 14 years ago seems likely) but literally every adult male customer behind me also looked just as confused as I did as to why this staff member thought I can read his mind as to what register he'll take me at.
