The service is friendly and open to special requests and they don't mind us taking up a table for a couple of hours. We appreciate the variety of seating options! It's very cozy inside and they also have a small patio off the back which is nice. My one wish is that they offered larger drink options!

There is a door to the building and to your right there is their main entrance to the coffee shop. Watch your step UP into the café. Music is contemporary and not too loud. Vintage decor. Standup Piano. Cozy seating arrangements of 2 to 8 seats throughout. Storefront window to gaze at the bustling traffic and pedestrians. Offerings. Standard coffee shop menu and interesting pastries, interesting cheesecakes, biscotti, and cookies. We got mocha and salted caramel latte. Very good. Fun latte art. Oatmeal cookie was chewy, spicy, and comforting. Happy to see lunch items on menu. Pics say more. Hospitality. Friendly and accommodating baristas. Bussed our dishes since it was almost closing. Of Note and Last Impressions. Lovely loos; clean and stocked. The temp of the café was a bit too cold for our preference. But overall, good place to just enjoy a cafe drink with friends.

While the chocolate looks very delicious and artsy, I did not particularly enjoy the Gelato…read moreoptions. There were a handful of options to go with, but out of the three I tasted: apple, orange, and vanilla, they all had a grainy texture to it. Now usually, Gelato is not as creamy as ice cream, and it is served at a higher temperature than its cousin, in order to maintain that famous elasticity. But this Gelato was a bit flaky/grainy. I imagine it had to do with the tub maybe having melted with the constant opening and closing of the glass, or maybe or it was turned to fast, but it had a sort of ice crystal flake taste/texture to it. The slow-churning technique that makes the majority of difference from Gelato to ice cream just maybe didn't reach the level I was used to (granted I had lived a year in Italy). But unfortunately, the Gelato felt more like ice cream, while the rich flavoring and vibrant coloration was lacking. This is my first time there, and perhaps I just happened to turn up on a slow or bad day. Now, I did not have a chance to get any of the chocolates, but from their looks, I could see myself picking a few up. The gentleman who served us was extremely kind and helpful, and I did feel welcomed. But this review should be acknowledged purely as a reflection on my opinion of the Gelato. It was not horrible, but it left much to be desired. That said, I would not be opposed to swinging by another time I feel the sweet escape. I'll probably venture into the key lime truffle.

(They're open until 10) And then as we walk up to the door while the lights inside are still on (mostly because they were still open) the workers inside see us and decide to turn off the lights and close as I lay my hand on the door. They retreated into the back to hide. As soon as we get back to the car they came back out. 0/10. Can't beat that customer service.

You know what's great about my mom? Everything. Like... Really--…read moreEVERYTHING. Why, just a glance over to the side, and I can glimpse the NES she bought me back when I was in grade school, oh, so many years ago. But, having the world's best mom comes with a tradeoff or two. Of note, how do you best show your appreciation on her birthday? Especially when you have only TWO HOURS to get something. Well, I've thrown the dice and bought her a cake. The idea to go out and buy one pre-made at Cold Stone Creamery came in a sudden flash. But it was a good one. I'll admit the pricetag for the cake was a bit more than I was expecting, but I'm already convinced it's worth it. The cake we bought was called 'the midnight delight'. It was the chocolate lover's ultimate cake. Chocolate frosting. Chocolate ice cream. Chocolate candy shells. And of course... chocolate cake filling. When I saw it for sale in Cold Stone Creamery's fridge, it took me all of 10 seconds to decide that this was the one. Better still? The staffers at Cold Stone tonight were AWESOME. The cake selection was actually guided by Zoe, while Lily took care of the cash register. Then, under the guidance of the manager, Brenda, the three of them set out to add that extra je ne sais quoi to make the cake absolutely fabulous. They used a very charming variant of pink for the, 'Happy Birthday Mom!!' lettering, lightly accented the cake with pink sparkles, and rounded it off with strategically placed pink candles encircling the cake's perimeter. Me and the family are planning on unveiling mom's cake and presents in two hours around midnight, but I'm very confident it's going to go well. And a large thanks goes out to Brenda, Lily, and Zoe and Cold Stone Creamery for helping us along the way!
