I recently visited Crave Cafe and I have to say, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant itself is impressive! It has a huge, open indoor space with lots of seating, which gives it a bright, airy, and welcoming feel. Whether you're coming in for a quick bite or a longer meal, the layout makes it easy to find a comfortable spot. If you prefer the outdoors, they also have plenty of outdoor seating, which is perfect on a nice day and really adds to the relaxed, friendly vibe of the place. They do have a lot to offer on their menu, it's lengthy and big, which I actually like because you can get a little bit of everything here! Everything I had was absolutely delicious. I tried two of their menu items. I started with the Garlic Aioli Burger served with French fries. The burger itself was cooked perfectly, juicy, and flavorful. The garlic aïoli was served on the side, which I really appreciated, but I personally wish it had been inside the burger itself. It would have taken the flavor to the next level! Still, the burger was fantastic, and the fries were crispy and salty, just perfect. I also tried the Chicken Burrito, and wow! It was amazing, you could really taste how fresh all the ingredients were. Each bite was flavorful, and it was clear that the kitchen takes care in preparing their dishes. It wasn't heavy (even when the portion was very generous) or greasy, just a really satisfying and well-balanced meal. The Chicken Burrito also came with a side salad that was a nice, fresh touch. It had a mix of arugula and spinach, with cucumbers. It was lightly dressed in a really tasty balsamic vinaigrette. The salad was crisp and flavorful, adding a refreshing balance to the burrito and rounding out the meal perfectly. On top of the great food, the service was excellent. Everyone was quick, efficient, and friendly, which made the whole experience smooth and easy. I never felt rushed, but everything arrived promptly, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Crave Cafe is a fantastic spot if you're looking for great food, a spacious and comfortable environment with fast and friendly service. Between the fresh, flavorful dishes and the welcoming atmosphere not to mention both indoor and outdoor seating options, this cafe really hits all the marks. Meeting friends for lunch at Crave. 1 PM on a Friday - no problem getting parking (on the north end of the Fallbrook Mall) and no problem getting a table. You order at the counter and they bring the food out when it is ready. I ordered the chicken tostada salad ($18). A decent sized portion loaded with chicken, guac, sour cream, and lots and lots of beans. Tasty and very filling. A bit pricey for a fast food restaurant salad. This was my first time in this restaurant and first experience was below average :( I ordered an Açaí bowl and I had to check on my order since it was taking longer than 15 mins. We were sitting down for a bit and had a bit of the crepe on a plate still on our table that we were still gonna eat after we had a bit more pasta. A lady, I think her name is Ruth? I'm not sure. Went here on a Wednesday night at 6:30 and had no problem finding a table and ordering. The restaurant had a lot of patrons considering it was a weeknight. We ordered burger and pizza and was pleasantly surprised that they asked for how we wanted the burger cooked. I ordered medium and it came out mid-well which I expected. Burger was delicious, charbroiled perfectly and still juicy on the inside, and I really enjoyed the ranch dressing! The side salad that came with the burger was also fresh and delicious. My kids' pepperoni pizza was fairly big (probably about same size as a Small/Medium at a chain pizza restaurant). It was enough for the kids (age 8 and 11) to share, (along with a side of fries). They both enjoyed the high quality crust and pizza ingredients and they said it tasted homemade. Overall good experience but next time I will not tip 15%, because besides them bringing the food to the table, I did all my own serving (grabbed my own utensils and drink refills, and when I asked the waiter for a takeout container he just pointed me in the direction of the indoor counter). read more

I like the study space available here when I need to get work done outside of home. I've come here a few times and ensured on trying to purchase something, but food quality, price and taste-wise.. it's been mainly okay for me so I try not too spend money too much to get disappointed, Mr. French Toast: I ordered french toast here before and the toast was super shriveled and dry. The toast tasted so bitter I didn't eat more than a couple of it. The syrup is what made it easier to eat. Tropical Acai Bowl: This was yummy and tasted standard to what an acai bowl would be like. Presentation was beautiful, I just wish for more ingredients included as there was only 4-5 max. Drinks I've Also Tried: Hey Girl Refresher: This tasted yummy and reminded me of the pink drink from Starbucks, but with actual strawberries inside. I enjoyed the sweetness and taste. Red Bull Pink Lemonade: This was recommended for me to try from the staff and it definitely tasted just like normal juice to me, which was awesome. P.S. They don't allow people to eat food from another place inside while studying. Some staff are friendly but I didn't like the mean vibes the staff gave when I came here most recently. The Pancakes were the only thing that was worth mentioning. And edible. When we arrived we were the only three people in there. I'm a little disappointed as this time around I had somewhat of a not delicious experience. I came with a group of friends and we all got a little something to eat. I got the tostada salad and another friend got a slice of the red velvet cake. As soon as her cake came, there was hair in it. For my food... the guacamole and sour cream tasted SO SOUR. Like inedible. When I went to tell them/ask them if it was normal, the girl that was in the front apologized and told me to talk to the guy that was in the back. I told him the sale - is tastes realllly sour. Is it supposed to or...? And with attitude he's all NO. I said okay well be it does. And with attitude "So what do u want to do??" I frequently come to this café to enjoy hookah, a nice drink and dessert and today was absolutely horrible in terms of service. We asked our server Arsi or whatever his name is for 2 cups of water to which he said right away, and then that turned into over an hour of waiting for a cup of water after asking two more times. He was too busy, making conversation with the table next to us and even felt comfortable enough to pour himself a cup of water just to go and stand with them and talk while we waited and watched him continuously ignore us. I also ordered a Matcha, to which I also had to wait an hour for just for me to ask another waitress because it had apparently not been placed by him. Not sure what the issue is here, he seemed perfectly fine bringing drinks and water to the 10 other tables around us, but continuously walked back-and-forth without checking on us once. If you're looking for another hookah lounge nearby that has actual attentive service and not servers who pour a cup of water for themselves while you've been waiting, I recommend The Spot in Encino. read more
