I have chronic illness and pain and have had to cancel more appointments there than I would like, but they have always been kind and gracious about it. I had to see Dr. Newman yesterday as I have developed an infected salivary gland. Alison (the remarkable receptionist!) was able to squeeze me in and Dr. Newman arranged to have the necessary x-rays done to confirm that it was indeed an infected gland and wanted me on antibiotics and booked an urgent appointment to see an oral surgeon within two days. Everything flowed like clockwork. This really is the best dentist and dental staff I know of in the city. Everyone treats you very well, and it is a very friendly staff. I wish my health would improve so I could get the dental work done that I need. I was lucky to be able to get the necessary referrals for my infected gland so quickly and am very grateful to be a patient of Dr. Newman's. She is an amazing dentist, and more. Highly recommended for all your dental needs.

In fact it seems a little silly to review a dentist, but that is how fantastic Dr. Dan Meyer at Edgemont Dental is. He is so skilled that he seems to finish the dental work needed in the time that my previous dentists took to do the 'prep' work. He also only does what is absolutely needed, and doesn't try to 'upsell' you on work - a practice that made me think of some of my previous dentist as used car salesmen. (Sorry used car salesmen.) He is extremely skilled and obviously takes pains to stay current on best practices. He and his staff are also very, very personable and friendly.
