Our first visit to this store when we came to Blanco was a great experience. The young lady at the front was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Even the younger girl working with her was polite. The store has a nice variety of items, although they're somewhat scattered throughout. Strike #1: This visit was the complete opposite. The woman at the front was rude and snappy from the moment we walked in. Last year we started downstairs, so when my daughter asked if she could go downstairs, I told her yes. Before I could even finish telling my kids that I was coming with them, the employee abruptly interrupted me and barked, "You have to stay with your kids at all times." That was already my plan. There was no reason to cut me off or speak to me like I was an irresponsible parent. Strike #2: My son found a toy he really liked. He pressed the button a couple of times to make sure it worked before asking me if he could get it. He was being patient and waiting for his turn to speak. Instead of giving him a chance, the same employee walked all the way from the front of the store upstairs just to scold him for pressing the button. It was completely unnecessary and made my son feel like he had done something wrong when he hadn't. Customer service can make or break a business, and unfortunately this visit was enough for me. I won't be spending my money here again, and I certainly won't recommend this store to anyone looking for a welcoming shopping experience. read more

There were quite a few things at this location, but not much in the way of what I was looking for. There was only one booth dedicated to vintage toys/dolls. I found one book that I liked, but not much else. There are two stories to this place, which you don't notice right away from the front of the store. I didn't have any issues with the staff. read more

One of my favorite Antique stores to visit! I always find something I must have and it's easy to shop!

Absolutely phenomenal store. Will be coming back for sure! A little something for everyone no matter what your style is.

Just wow! Talk about feeling like you're going back in a time machine... It at least feels like you're going back 40 years to 1985! So many things in here that I grew up going to garage sales and seeing including the same style of plates that I grew up with in my grandma's house. They have books, knives, and every little knick-knack you could possibly imagine. They even have a music section in a 70s album section with all kinds of vinyl from past decades. The staff is excellent and was very helpful about informing me different items and their value. You could spend hours in here and it's definitely worth stopping in and seeing if there's something you like or remember growing up with! Couldn't find hours of business except in maps, which turned out to be wrong. Drove 45 minutes only to get to the store 90 minutes before opening. Very frustrating. I even called the night before hoping to get a message to validate the hours, but it just rang and rang. read more

I want to thank the antique store for being very helpful to my mom. She was looking for a specific can opener type tool and received lots of help. I was trying to find military memorabilia but unfortunately no luck this time around. Also I did want to give the owner praise for how she handled a situation that occurred while I was in the store. We went during the very busy annual Lavender Festival. We love going to this store and are frequent visitors when passing through. This year they had lockers up at the front of the store for people to store their backpacks, and over sized items, purses, bags, etc. you would just lock it with the assigned key and that's it. I thought how cool! This makes walking around super convenient and give my arms a break lol. Well one lady when asked again if she had heard the owner tell her the rules about using the lockers just ignored her and basically caused a fuss... I'm not sure why people, adults, can't follow a stores rules. In my opinion if you can't follow the rules you shouldn't be allowed to shop. There are a lot of breakable items you just don't know when an accident can happen. Keep doing the lockers ma'am, many customers such as myself enjoyed using them. Hope to see yall again soon! I'm not sure insulting your customers who are looking to purchase antiques. I would have given this place 5 stars if it weren't for the rude staff member named Heidi. I realize it's during lavender festival, but we are here to spend money. I spent over $130. My friend spent some too. We were also grieving a death of a friend (my friend's brother) that usually loves coming with us to the festival. You really soured our mood by being so rude. Your vendors would be sad knowing that. Think about how your attitude effects your business and other people I was going to buy another set of glassware, another 130+, but felt it had inconvenienced her to ask for a box to carry it all up the stairs. So the vendor suffered. I stated I would pick up later or the next day after paying. When I returned, she snapped "it's not tomorrow!" Did it really matter?? It was paid for. read more

We were there just this past weekend. Staff was both cheerful and helpful. One of the Western shirts on display was fabulous, both inside and out. Whoever made that shirt knew what they were doing, and whoever collected it to put in this shop has a good eye for quality. Overall, a good shopping experience and a wide variety of antiques. Loved all the old cookbooks, too. Bought one of those wooden stamps they use in India for clothing. I'm looking forward to stamping a few of my muslin garments. I really enjoyed this place! It's much larger than it appears from the outside. Has a large basement area that was neat. The lady who worked at the front desk was so Friendly. Lots of unique antiques to look at. This place isn't for the "bargain" shopper type. They have cool stuff but it priced accordingly (which is fair) :) I bought a few neat postcards priced well and a patch I love! Worth the stop for sure, we will pop in again next time we come through town. read more

We entered the store and the lady behind the counter was extremely rude to our family. She started talking to our kids in a very aggressive, disrespectful tone. We are two veterans and current peace officers and we trust out kids are well raised. This lady needs to fix her attitude and recognize who she is talking to. read more

I can always find a good deal on odds and ends here! The store is well laid out and not overstuffed to the point of not being able to get around like some antiques places are. Has a separate basement section downstairs too. The storefront, strip, and town square area is very nostalgic and the small park across the street is decorated super cute for the holidays! Happened to be driving through Blanco, TX this weekend, and recognized this antique shop. I visited a couple years ago, and found a couple fantastic TCU cups. I was hoping to find more, but couldn't find any. The owner, or employee that was there, said he would ask his dealers to try to find some for me for when I am driving back through this summer. That is fantastic service if you ask me! If you are ever driving on 281 through Blanco, stop at the little town square, and walk around a bit. I highly recommend it! read more

For two people who normally can't stand antique shops, this place is great. There is a lot of stuff but it never felt overwhelming. Lots of vendors had sales so things were priced very reasonably. I loved walking around and exploring. Hope to come back! read more

We were very unwelcomed at this business before even stepping inside. First off as we were trying to enter the store, an older lady who works there opens the door and instead of welcoming us in, waters her flowers with her water bottle, turns to us with a nasty look without holding the door open to welcome us. We had two small, well behaved kids. Without even giving us a chance she demanded I "give me your bag". There are two types of big antique stores. The first is dominated by vendors that know exactly what they have and what it's worth. The second type of antique stores understand that they'd rather move merchandise and see a small return than to sit on it for 7 years until some shmuck gives them what they want. Cranberry's Antiques is the former - they know precisely what they have and it's priced accordingly. My wife and I stopped in twice and only spent $14 because we simply weren't willing to pay the prices asked. So, yes, Cranberry's is not a bargain hunter's paradise. That being said, they do have some nice items. In particular they have some cabinets, quite a few actually, that are quite nice. The only issue are the prices. I'm not suggesting that they aren't worth their price-tagged amount, just that I thought they were pricey. That seems to be the name of the game here. Anyway, if you're in Blaco, Cranberry's Antiques is definitely worth a look. They might just have what you're looking for at a price you're willing to pay. Oh, no public bathrooms. read more

Older lady behind the counter has the worst customer service skills I have ever seen. I asked if they honored a military discount and she laughed sarcastically at me and said no. While I was standing there a customer asked if there was a bathroom available. She pointed at a small hand written sign and stated, 'I guess you can't read?' I really liked multiple things in this store. Unfortunately, the woman working the counter was unbelievably rude. My father is hard of hearing and uses aids to help him understand conversation. She wouldn't even give him the time of day. We found multiple items in multiple booths that were marked offering sales and she would not honor the sign. Another staff came up and said "the sign says it's on sale" and she said she would not honor the sign, that it would come out of her paycheck. When I walked into Cranberry's, I was shocked at how large it is. This place is HUGE & filled with a great variety of items. The friendly staff was able to help me find exactly the piece I was looking for. In reading other's reviews, I didn't find the prices too high. Instead, I thought very fair & *MUCH* cheaper than Fredericksburg or Round Top. Will definitely be back again! read more

We are dealers and shop all the antique stores when we travel. Have shopped here a couple of times in the past. Wasn't impressed by today's visit and is highly unlikely that we will return. Lady working in the store wasn't a bit friendly which is a total turnoff when you walk in the door. Not only was she cold toward us coming in, she followed me around when we came in like I was going to steal something but then retreated to the front desk to play solitaire on the computer. My husband was interested in a coffee grinder and wanted to make an offer to the seller. She informed him she could take 10% off. He told her he wanted to make an offer. She again repeated she could take off 10%. She wasn't interested in contacting the seller. As a dealer in a big antique mall, the store we are a seller in can take 10% off and can call a seller with an offer if the item is over $50 which the item he was interested in was well over that amount. We get calls from the store all the time with offers from buyers. Since the lady really wasn't interested in helping him, that seller potentially missed out on a sale. Again, will probably not return. read more
