So I read the previous review and thought... "that doesn't sound right to me" and I'll tell you why. Quite simply... the place has changed hands. The customer service of the new owners I thought was a bit lacking at first, but after a few times of returning back, the staff have recognised me and their service is great! Most of the patrons are just locals who are their regulars, as the staff know most people by name. My order is a roll with mainly pickled ingredients with a few fresh ingredients. Everything tastes great and the roll is put together well. You can tell the owner secretly loves good food. I don't go near some of the things on the menu just because of my diet, but it all sounds and looks tempting. If you just want a fresh roll *thumbs up* great place to go! Highly recommend it!! As a barista, I don't often go back to a place for coffee unless the coffee is decent. If I get a bad one, I give the place a 2nd chance. If it's bad the 3rd time, I don't go back and spread the word that coffee is not served very well. Craigmore Cafe however, their coffee was the drawing card for me even before I started getting rolls. They really do know how to make a coffee! If you're in the area and want good coffee and food. Literally the worst place I have ever eaten at. The woman behind the counter had no customer service skills, and was rude to another customer while I was "dining". (Seriously, if it's your job to go get white bread when supplies are low, just go get it. It's not the customers fault if he doesn't want brown. Coles is less than 15 steps away.) I thought I ordered a chicken roll. Apparently my english skills fail me, since what I got was a lump og charcoal with some chicken bones (Warning, may contain traces of chicken). There was so much mayo on the outside of the roll, I had to wipe my hands after every bite. Particularly large smears of mayo over the most burnt bits, meaning she had clearly seen it and not actually cared at all. Hot Chocolate was okay though. Not good. But okay. read more
