I can't recommend Craig enough! I had whiplash about a year ago and tried everything--fascia work, chiropractors--but still had pain and couldn't move my neck properly. Within 10 minutes of working with Craig, I felt such a huge release and so much movement! Just started the 10 series! Excited! He's not only incredibly skilled, but also just a really kind, genuine person who truly cares about his clients. So grateful I found him read more

I have long suffered from back pain due to sports injuries and a car accident. On an international trip, the pain bordered on intolerable. Through a mere coincidence, I was treated under the Rolf technique. Upon my return to Los Angeles, I immediately searched for a local practitioner, found Craig, and signed up for the series. That was almost 8 years ago.The transformation Craig brought to my body and my being has been life changing. The Rolf method is not a massage. It is an approach to restore the complex and delicate muscular balance that positions and moves the body. I have been through the series three times in addition to regular "tune ups" where Craig addresses periodic instabilities that can trigger pain episodes. He intuitively assesses my condition based on observation, asks simple questions, then tailors treatments to the specific needs. He provides an environment that is personal and protective. I leave each session feeling a balanced freedom of movement, physically energized, and mentally lifted. His work is foundational for the body. I highly recommend Craig should you be seeking the benefits of the Rolf method, as I found and as you can read in the other testimonials. read more

Craig Dunham is a gifted and intuitive healer. I have tried many modalities and this method works. Take one session and you will experience the magic. Take a series and everything in your life will change. Craig is phenomenal at understanding and listening to the body's messages. In one hour with Craig, I experience far more long--lasting relief than I do after multiple massages. This work really is foundational. I'm grateful that I have access to such amazing bodywork. It's life changing. read more

There is NO ONE better and more powerful and intuitive. Craig put me back in the good graces of myself physically and energetically after a very challenging postpartum year. Run, skip, hop, cha-cha and prance (don't walk) to Craig Dunham. read more

I've been a lover of rolfing for the past 6 years. It has helped me tremendously with having more awareness, more appropriate mobility, understanding myself, unlocking of my superpowers (yes, superpowers) and alleviation of chronic pain from a gnarly car accident and a bunch of good ole' traumas. I've been rolfed by at least 7 rolfers. Most who share mutual teachers of Craig's. They are all amazing, unique and worked with me to get myself in the best place possible. Though, Craig is by far the most skilled, immensely gifted, and is an embodiment of this modality of bodywork. His finesse of technique and compassionate yet discerning eye for where the body needs more work is unparalleled. In my opinion, his personality during our sessions is compassionate, caring, fun, and receptive. There are spots that were very tender and seemed to me that were going to be impossible to get through, but with his safe presence and wise words of encouragement and use of metaphors, I was able to feel into it with my breath and the tenderness was just felt as pressure. I consider myself very fortunate and almost baffled how I became so lucky! to have Craig take me through my second 10 series. As you may have guessed, I would HIGHLY recommend Craig as a rolfer, not only is he a treasure trove full of embodied wisdom and an incredible human being. Also our time together has unleashed my own empowerment and uncovered a new sense of being, which feels so amazing! read more

I know Craig from The Massage Place and he told me about the Rolf Method. I was curious to try it and it is SO AMAZING. I am a Massage Therapist who has been practicing for 8 years as well as training MMA for the past 4 years. My body has really taken a beating. The Rolf Method is NOT a massage! It is a method of working with the body structure so its functioning at its fullest potential! I already saw results on my first session. My lower body and upper body felt a great release. I literally feel taller, my posture is better and I have more energy. I can't wait to train and see how my body feels then. I am a convert to this Rolf Method. Craig has a very healing and intuitive touch and I felt extremely comfortable. Wear shorts and a sports bra because He will be doing some stretches and moving your body in a different way. I see it more an awakening of space inside my own body. Craig is always professional and has amazing energy. I can't wait to come back. I would recommend this to anyone but especially active people who move their bodies regularly. I would also recommend this to someone who is looking to discover more about their body to let it grow. Many many thanks Craig!! ***Plenty of FREE two hour parking behind the structure and plenty of meters. The location is right off the freeway so it's fairly easy to locate. read more

5 stars for Craig! As an Ashtanga yoga practitioner, I was experiencing pain in my body and sought relief. I was curious as to how the Rolf method would help my practice and Craig's experience with the Rolf method helped me move forward more intelligently in my body. The relief was immediate. After our first session, I felt lighter, more aligned, grounded and energized. It's a fascinating method which can only be experienced. Craig not only deeply cares about what he does, but is a wealth of knowledge. The inner and outer healing seems to begin as soon as you get up from the table. I am amazed at what he can do and I look forward to our next sessions together. I only hope everyone can experience this! read more

I just completed a 10 series with Craig and have never been more thankful for taking a leap and trying something new. I have spent decades trying to address varying degrees of neck pain and tension. I have seen countless chiropractors and specialists in Los Angeles and New York seeking relief over the years and have tried many different combinations of treatments with frequency (up to 3x a week for several hours each appointment). It has been just over three weeks since my last session and I can say with confidence that Craig has provided me with not only the relief I've been long seeking, but also an incredibly transformative experience. I've never felt better. I will echo some of what has been said by others before because I found it all to be true and it deserves repeating. The pain and tension in my neck is gone and I feel more aligned, connected and grounded in my body. I feel as if there is freedom and space in my body and a fluidity that I never imagined possible. Craig unlocked bound up tension and energy that had been creating pain and discomfort for years and the relief has been long-lasting. He introduced a better baseline for functioning to my body and it's been hugely positive for me. An unexpected benefit, this process has given my body the gift of flow and grace. As everyone has said, Craig is a truly wonderful human being. He is professional, dedicated and a skillful practitioner. He is also a genuinely lovely and thoughtful person. This process doesn't demand endless appointments to see results and Craig's insistence that you live in your body for a bit and see how things work over time before considering more sessions, is something I deeply appreciate. He is not selling you, because there is nothing to sell. The process speaks for itself. After 10 one-hour sessions I've felt more relief and ease in my body than any combination of treatments I've tried in my life. If you are even a bit curious or interested in giving the Rolf Method a try, I would implore you to contact Craig and experience this with him. This process is transformative and I can't imagine having experienced this with anyone else. Craig deserves the exceptional praise he receives and I would highly recommend him to anyone. I am deeply grateful for finding Craig. read more

I've been seeing Craig for a while now (years? I can't remember). To be clear -- the Rolf method is not massage -- it's as the title says: a method of structural integration. I call him my "body mechanic." More recently, I had surgery in my ankle, and my most recent sessions have been an amazing addition to my post-surgery PT. Even my PT commented on the difference between before and after my visits with Craig (she quite literally asked me if I could always visit Craig before my visits with her). Some highlights: - Rolf sessions are amazing journeys into understanding your body better. Afterwards, I always feel bigger, more natural, and more connected to my body. My post-visit activities (running, biking, climbing, yoga, what have you) always feel more grounded and more efficient. - I appreciate the fact that he's not trying to get you to sign up for a million sessions. Unless he feels that you need a few more sessions to understand your body better (see the above point), when I ask him when I should see him again, he usually responds with "your body will let you know when it's time." For me, that's anywhere between months to weeks. - He's a fantastic dude. He's always a treat to see, and a lovely conversationalist! As I'm writing this, LA is still not allowing in-office visits for Craig, but he can work with you in an outdoor space where you feel comfortable (in my case, my backyard). You won't regret working with Craig. read more

I was so blessed to have crossed path with this incredible and intelligent man. I am a professional Ballet/Contemporary dancer and working with Craig allowed me to improve in my technique, flexibility and unknown natural strength. I wasn't until working with Craig with Fascial Stretch Therapy(FST) that i achieved a natural and painless rotation, also known as turnout in my hips. There wasn't any more grinding and stress at the Barre like most dancers I work with complain about. Also my jumps have been higher and more controlled. I can't thank him enough for all that he has done for me. Working with him has truly been a blessing and has change my life and career. Thank you Criag Dunham for releasing a freedom that i have never experience in my body. Dance has and will never be the same!!! read more

Craig has a wonderful combination of 1. technical knowledge and deep understanding of his work with Rolfing/Structural Alignment, and 2. intuition about people, their bodies and the alignment they are ready for. His intuition works very well with his technical knowledge and seems to seamlessly work together. He is very respectful of space, very physically strong to be able to work deeply which makes me feel relaxed, is light hearted and does a meticulous job in realigning my body. He is courageous to go deep and therefore creates a safe space for me to go deeper in my growth. Craig has been an integral part of my spiritual path, helping to keep my body in alignment with my spiritual growth. I highly recommend Craig! read more

I am on session 5 of the recipe. This is life changing work. After playing competitive sports for 30 years (and a few surgeries) my body was begging for relief. After only 4 sessions so far, my body hasn't felt this free in a loooong time. I look forward to each and every session. Craig is all you can ask for in a professional: knowledgeable, dedicated, passionate, and truly care about his clients wellbeing. I highly recommend his work for anyone interested in improving him/herself, not just physically but energetically and mentally as well. read more

I am so glad I met Craig Dunham! He is an amazing bodyworker. He focuses on rolfing and Fascial Stretch Therapy(FST). I decided I needed some work since my shoulder was causing me lots of grief and I felt so wound tight due to several stressful situations I was experiencing at the time. I found Craig through my gym. I opted for the FST. Craig explained what he was going to do and kept checking in to see how I was doing throughout the session. He did most of the work but there are certain stretches that required me to move. He communicated what he wanted me to do effectively so we didn't waste time. I felt relaxed after the session and definitely looser, longer but it wasn't until the next morning that I felt elated! My shoulder felt better but my emotional state had changed from grouchy to really happy. I recommended him to a friend of mine who loved his energy also. Craig is very positive and uplifting but also grounded. He cares deeply about helping his clients and their overall well-being. read more

My first time trying the Rolf Method after multiple attempts at addressing my back problems, and it was nothing short of amazing. Craig takes pride in his work, and genuinely cares about helping his clients. He took the time to explain the Rolf Method, what I can expect during and after, while thoroughly answering all of my questions before we even started. I felt he had an excellent understanding of my issues and how to alleviate the pain. After our session, I stood up and immediately felt a difference. The way a massage should be.... I have always wanted to try the ROLF method and I am soo glad I met Craig Dunham to be the one to introduce me to it. Finally, something that works!!! ROLF is very intense but it allows you to release areas that have built up stress and tension like non-other. I have a 6mm slipped disk in my low back. I have undergone every therapy modality out there and had countless massages. I have to say ROLF is by far my jam. It targets my pain in a way I have never experienced before. Craig literally is able to assess and pinpoint my trouble areas by first glance. He takes his time with his in-take and asks all the right questions. He is the most knowledgeable, thorough, and compassionate massage therapist I've have met to date. I'd even go as far to say he has a 6th sense when it comes to knowing the body and how to use the ROLF method so that you leave feeling taller, pain free, and extraordinarily cared for. Craig is a master in his craft. 5 stars all day long. Thank you! read more

I tried the Rolf Method for the first time. WOW. It is such a complex method, easily the best I ever tried in my life. It was truly my best experience on a physical and emotional level. Your body holds on to so much pain experienced in your life. I feel with this method you are able to release what you do not need to hold onto anymore...Rolfing makes space within your body so that energy flows freely and your body functions at its fullest potential. Sometimes I felt I had to push through my boundaries and my resistance. When you do do so, and you breath through it, it is a life-changing experience. By transforming your physical body your life transforms as well, so get ready for some positive changes inside and outside. I truly recommend Craig, he is a raw diamond. read more

Craig is the nicest person I ever met. His technique is very unique and special. The Rolf Method is very different from any other kind of massage. You may not relax during massage because of some pain ( good feeling pain, it's not the bad pain when somebody give you a pressure at wrong spot!! ) But I experienced the Rolf Method from Craig, it totally blows my mind. Your body will feel so much lighter and softer after that. Craig Helped my posture to be straight (I tend to stand slouchy). I noticed the weakest spot in my body. I would recommend to try the Rolf Method with him. read more

Craig is amazing, he spent an hour and a half stretching me from head to toe (literally) using some Rolfing techniques along the way. I've been a tennis pro for 20 years now and have all kinds of bodywork. During that time I've gone to four rolfers and every other kind of bodyworker. Craig Dunham is at the very top of the list. He is passionate about his work and extremely professional. Craig has a very mellow and nurturing way about him and is a student of his trade. You can tell that he thinks deeply about how he approaches the work he does with you and really wants you to feel better about your body. Much bodywork is designed to just manage the damage we do on a daily basis. Craig looks to help you make forward progress and offers advice on things you can do in your daily routine to keep things moving in that direction. I couldn't recommend him more if your looking for this kind of work. read more

Craig is amazing! My body is changed and healed due to him. I had chronic back pain for years. I tried physical therapy, massage, chiropractors but nothing gave me lasting change. Our family has known Craig for almost 10 years. My partner and I both see Craig for rolfing and FST work. My latest session was a few weeks ago. My back, the back of a mama who is always reaching down to pick up her toddler, reaching down to pick up toys and taking care of everyone but myself, felt amazing afterwards. The before and after photo showed a huge difference not only in my physical alignment but also in my emotional energy. I felt strong afterwards like I could handle anything. The daily aches and pains was gone like magic. He is an amazing and generous healer, intelligent, intuitive and strong. I recommend him to all my friends. I trust him completely. read more
