Since I am familiar with this mall it was easy for me to find. Just an FYI - You need to pay for parking at Newport Mall which was around $5 for 2 hours. The mall is easy accessible by car, train or bus which is a plus. Upon walking in, it is very spacious. My boyfriend and I were greeted by the owner and chose where we wanted to sit. What I loved about this paint and sip is that we painted with blacklight colors and the canvas was already outlined with what we were painting for the day. First, we followed the outline on our canvas with our paint of choice. Once the outlines were finished, the owner closed the door and turned off the lights so we can fill in the painting and see the blacklight effects. Throughout the paint and sip, throwback music is played which I love and cups as well as wine openers are provided. There is also a bathroom in the back which is a plus since the Mall doesn't have many restrooms throughout it. During the paint and sip, my boyfriend and I shared many cups of wine together, I sang majority of the time (LOL) and we just enjoyed the company of everyone around us while creating our masterpieces. I would definitely come back here. I felt comfortable and had tons of fun!

This review is long overdue. I went to Sandy Mones after…read moresigning up for a ceramics course which included 3/4 classes over a few weeks. I knew nothing about ceramics but I learned A LOT. Sandy is sweet, passionate about ceramics and was extremely flexible whenever I needed to reschedule and was always willing to work with me. I took my partner here for a wheel throwing class and although he was reluctant he really enjoyed his time and we had fun! I absolutely recommend checking out this cute studio nestled in the ground floor of a residential building. It might be a little hard to find and enter it (intercom system) but definitely worth it.
