We don't have a Cracker Barrel nearby, so I thought visiting would be a fun treat for my daughter since she had never been before. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being disappointing. Appetizers: Fried pickles - hot and tasty, definitely the highlight. Fried onions - very bland, though the dipping sauce was good. Dinners: Hamburger and fries - the fries were strangely both overcooked and soggy at the same time. My daughter only ate half her burger, saying it just wasn't good. Chicken fried steak with green beans and fried apples - the steak and gravy were fine, and the green beans were decent. However, the fried apples had noodles mixed in, almost like they were scooped with the same spoon as the mac and cheese, which was unappetizing. Catfish dinner with fries, rice, and mac and cheese - the ends of the fish were overdone, though the middle was good. The rice was dried out. The fries were okay, and the mac and cheese was the best part of the plate. Overall, what I hoped would be a special first experience for my daughter turned into a letdown. read more

This is the absolute worst Restaurant in Park City. We waited over 40 minutes just to be seated. Only to wait, once the waitress showed up and took our order. We waited again. About 30 minutes after we arrived, some people sat next to us and ordered. Within 15 minutes they had their food. Still waiting the waitress said we should talk to the manager. That was a waste of time. After waiting over 45 minutes, we decided to leave. This is not the first time that this has happened. About a year ago we here. That time it wasn't just the waiting that was the problem. It was the food, it wasn't even fit to eat. This is the last time we visit this dump of a restaurant. I can't believe that people would even consider eating at this establishment. It's remarkable that they are still in business. read more

The service was great but the was not pancakes were dry and the sausage patties tasted a little weird to me but I think it was just because I am used to eating pork, and they were pink in the middle not sure if that's how this brand is supposed to be ‍ read more

Long wait, cold food, very slow service. Way better places for breakfast in Wichita, go somewhere locally owned.

This is a newly opened location on the west side. I ordered the Grandmas breakfast. It was a lot of food. My husband had a side of grits with his meal and they came out thin and undercooked. Heard other people around us complaining to the waitstaff about the same issue. But other than that, we were happy with our meals. I'm sure being a new location, they will get the hang of things quickly. We will be back. read more

A common problem, but my first review! The wait for a call in order is 30 minutes, I was told 15-20. They told me they only had one person doing the call in orders. The "manager" is out in the gift shop tossing a pink stuffed animal in the air. I got home and my food was barely warm and there were no biscuits in the bag. My family has always found the food and service to be top notch. The excellent food was well worth the long wait. So, when I started doing deliveries, no matter how often I went into the CB on 61st, the woman at the front counter could not have been ruder. I've not only declined picking up delivery orders from this location, but my family has stopped dining there as well. With so many places to choose from, there's no reason to subject myself to that sort of behavior. How she ever got the job in the first place is a mystery, because it certainly wasn't on her charm. read more

Today is my birthday, my mother and grandmother decided to treat me to lunch. I visited the Ridge Rd location in Wichita, KS. Brenda the waitress was horrible. She served my table cold entrees and forgot my mother and grandmothers sides. She displayed an attitude as though she was disturbed by them asking for there food and ketchup. She did not smile, she rolled her eyes and walked off. My mother waived down "Flor" the manager and we shared our discretion, she offered a new order of food and a new waitress. The new waitress came over to ask us what we needed with a smile and removed the appetizer plates from the table and Brenda jumped in front of her to remove dishes off the table. My mother advise her that she did not need to come back to our table as she was no longer our wait staff. Brenda smirked and with a very condescending tone said, oh...im sorry...and walked off. She returned more than once to antagonize and stare at us and purposely walked around our table staring at us talking under her breath. there was no correction in this situation what so ever. Other than the new waitress that finished our table. It is my damn birthday today. I am so disappointed with this staff. I read all of the Diversity and Inclusion programs you have put in place and I feel that Brenda may need some training or fired for blatantly being racist. Flor as well. They were not interested in making the consumer feel important. The feeling of this visit was more like a annoyance. Please correct this issue. I would also like to add that the portion of food and the way it was presented was very undesirable. Plain disgusting. My mother and grandmother should not have been charged for cold food and watered down iced tea. The store was great, the dining room was clean. The service was great. The chicken fried steak was awful. Both my Wife and I ordered the chicken fried steak. Looked like the frozen chicken fried steak you would buy at Walmart except not even as good as that. It had a very thin coating and the actual meat was about 1/8in thick. To be fair we have eaten here before and for the most part, enjoyed it. This time however was an exception ( I hope) we have a three-strike rule. Every place can have a bad night. However, I think the Chicken Fried steak struck out the first time as it will not improve unless they do it differently. I wished we would have taken a picture of it so I could have posted it here. We enjoy eating at Cracker Barrel, and have never had a bad experience at any Cracker Barrel across the country. Until tonight. The hostess was friendly and we were seated almost immediately. It was after we were seated. Once our server took our order, we sat for 1 hour and 15 minutes before our food showed up. It was only after I finally inquired as to where our food was at the hostess stand, because our server was no where to be seen, that our food arrived shortly there after. While we waited for our food we sat and watched tables being served who were seated after us. If our server forgot to put the order in, I wish she would have told us, instead of disappearing. read more

For over 30 years we have looked forward to our meals at Cracker Barrel. The french toast, which has always been my go-to, is the standard I compare any other restaurant's french toast against. If traveling over Thanksgiving, we would sometimes eat our Thanksgiving meal at Cracker Barrel and, yes, I would get the french toast as my Thanksgiving meal! It was always consistently delicious and truly something to look forward to. Well, sadly, they just couldn't leave a great thing alone. They have changed the bread, it is now thinner and smaller. They have also changed the batter. In doing so they have squarely placed themselves in the ranks of the average. If they are trying to cut costs, this is not the right move. I'd be willing to pay more for the exceptional quality they used to deliver. I shared my concerns with the manager who seemed quite unconcerned. Now they have lost a loyal fan and customer. Fortunately, using them as the standard, over the years I've been able to match their quality with homemade french toast, so we will go that route and save money. I have no plans to return to any Cracker Barrel. read more

We found this place during a road trip coming from the East Coast, and we are so glad we stopped by. We used the curve side pick up option because of all the COVID restrictions. Great place for breakfast/brunch. I got the Grandma's plate and it had different sides and I loved them all. Great service. read more

So my folks came down from Oklahoma to see me and my husband and our daughter in the hospital and they took us out to dinner we was going to go to cheddars but the wait was 30-35 mins so we decided to eat here. Our waitress took our order got our drinks and then never came back to ask us if we needed refills or anything we had to ask another waitress to refill our drinks. Then we finally got our meal and she never brought out our bread that went with our meal and when we asked about it she said the bread was in the oven that's why I didn't bring it out well she didn't even bother to tell us that to begin with we had to ask where the bread was. We all finished eating and still no bread and she came back and asked us how everything was and I said we didn't get our bread?? She scoffed and rolled her eyes and stormed off and never said another word. So we get up to go pay for our meal and the cashier asked us how everything was and I said dreadful we didn't get our bread and the waitress had an attitude. The cashier offered to give us our bread and I told them it's too late now we are all done with our meal. We paid and left. What's sad the food was good but the service was absolutely terrible.....that young lady that was our waitress needs to be fired!!! read more
