One of my buddies who I was road tripping with, was smart enough to bring a cooler. He bought frozen boudin balls, a few pounds of boudin, some smoked sausage and some sort of stuffed chicken. One of the better places to come and get gas in town, and one of my preferred stops, for all kinds of reasons. Lafayette gas is usually cheap - and this one is even cheaper than most.
