I wasn't impressed at all... Drinks was just ok and my food wasn't good at all.. Service was good, staff was friendly..

Lovely airy dining room with high ceilings. Servers are attentive, friendly and have flair. Plating is Instagram ready. And tastes really good. Quality and value for money is good. Coconut water with pineapple is very refreshing. Ceviche is fresh and bright With assertive tangy lime juice. But it was the octopus cooked in its own and that really caught my attention. Rich, earthy, slightly tangy, tender--very addictive. Venue is easy to find near the Hyatt hotel. Among lovely restaurants for brunch and other upmarket services.

The cheesecrabster dish is not crab at all, it's shrimp in a cheese fondue with bread. It was good but really is an appetizer and not a meal. I asked for the whole fish and was not served what I asked because it was "too big". What a interesting way to deny someone what they asked for. I also ordered mixed seafood ceviche and it was cool. Place is nice, quite big and wasn't too busy during happy hour on a Tuesday.

I ordered the Craby Burger. Presentation was good, atmosphere - very nice, and the service was excellent. But food...Meh. There were several hard crunchy things in the patty, maybe crab shells. The patty was over cooked, dry and tasteless. Very disappointing, wonder if that's why they have free beer. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing but I had much better seafood at Marlin Azúl near the zocalo, unfortunately it is not open at night. (Note: atmosphere at Marlin Azúl is more rustic/local but the service is just as good and the food is incredible.) I will not return or recommend the Crabster. Writing the review I realized the bill says 'bien cocido' meaning well done. No wonder it was burnt. I pointed to the menu item when ordering, so there could be no misunderstanding.

We ate Sunday lunch here. We got there right at noon when it switched from breakfast to lunch. We wanted lunch all along. We decided to sit outside because of the nice breeze. They bring you two habanero salsas to use with the chips they provide before you eat. They were spicy but a good burn. I got the crunchy shrimp tacos and my wife got the shrimp and lobster tacos with cheese. My came with corn tortillas and my wife's flour. I would have preferred flour with my fried shrimp. The crunchy shrimp came with a nice pico, and the shrimp and lobster came with a avocado sauce. I put both on mine. Great service and a wonderful environment in Paseo 60.

Lobster tacos: large portions. Not sure how long the promotion lasts but they were offering all-you-like free beer with every meal (Feb 21, 2022)

Service was great and Lobster Tacos were delicious. Tacos come with cheese which will be melted. I suggest asking for light cheese, bc they can be a bit heavy handed, which will over power the other flavors. Worth an Uber/ Taxi ride

I've been to the location on Progresso and I want to say that one is fancier but it also has more of a tourist appeal.

I was served the wrong dish, and when I politely brought it to the waiter's attention, I was told there was nothing that could be done and that I still had to pay for it. The meal was boxed up for me without offering a replacement or any solution. When it came time to pay, the credit card machine was handed to my husband for the tip, which felt awkward and dismissive given the situation. The food itself was also underwhelming. I asked about adjusting the seasoning and was told it wasn't possible. The flavors were not what I expected, and having eaten at restaurants all over the world, this meal fell well below that standard. For a restaurant that presents itself as service-oriented and welcoming, especially to visitors, this experience was surprising and disappointing.

My nieces frequent Chichi regularly and they like it. This is a seafood restaurant with extensive menu with meat and other options. If you're a vegan like me, you'r options are limited but not impossible. The bay windows open and if you're seated by them you have a grandiose view everything going on the boardwalk and the beach. If you didn't want to eat in the restaurant but wanted to eat on the beach under a Palapa - thatched umbrella dining table, and if there was space available, the Palapa it is. The service is slightly slow but for a Saturday afternoon it's expected with a full dining room. There are make shift box fans spread out in the dining area and each table is equipped with mosquito fan and a purse stand. As a vegan, I ordered the guacamole minus cheese and minus Chicharrones. The guacamole was fresh and the habanero salsa options at the table SLAP!! There were four options with the black one - fiery spicy but had a tremendous amount of flavor. Even though it's fiery spicy it's not overbearing for me. The rice and fried banana plate needed to be clarified before final ordering but I was told that there was not any animal products in my dish. The SOL cerveza was ice cold and was continually replenished. The rice and fried banana plate arrived and it was good not great but good. Everyone else's dishes and were plated with care. My nieces enjoyed their dishes as well. Can Chichi be a tourist trap ? Maybe but we were a party of 7 with apps, entrees, drinks, and deserts for $200. All in all it was a great Saturday lunch that left us full for the rest of the.
