The worst company I have every done business with. They charged me extra because someone was parked in the public street and they couldn't remove their trash bin. I explained to them the best day to remove it would be the street sweeping day, but wanted nothing to do with me. I was told I was going to get thir price and was almost triple charged. This shouldn't be legal. I have paid in the past for over 10 forty yard trash bins and this is far the worst company I have had to deal with. I feel like I was robbed and the staff is very disrespectful. I will never use this outside company again. When I asked them to show me the weight they refused and in Spanish used profanity towards me showing me lack of respect. The one's using profanity didn't think that I understood my language. I know a lot of people say things like this, but if I could give this company zero stars I would. I already wrote a review on the San Juan page... but now I'm writing one on this page. Specifically because of Victoria Ruiz, the operations manager. She obviously has no idea how to manage anything. We have been trying to get cr&r to pick up our bulk items since 11/17. It is now 11/24. We have not lived in the home since the 18, and each day they have "assured" us that things would be picked up. They have had every excuse in the book. 1st one, was that the items were placed between a car and a truck. Which is strange, because we only have 1 truck and 2 motorcycles. Then the man on the phone, Sergio, said never mind. It was on the property so they didn't pick it up. We had to call THEM because the old landlord was pissed that it was still there. They did not Inform us. Mind you, we've had angry text messages and phone calls from him every single day since we left. 2nd one was that the items were not the same items we said there would be. Which is true. Because people came by and picked up a few things. They still Didn't pick anything up. One excuse after another. "We assure you it will Be picked up today". They've said that every day. And still have not picked it up. Our landlord is charging us $150 a day because these things are not being picked up. We have told them this and nothing has been done. Though they keep telling us it will be. At this point there are only 2 items left. So we aren't sure why it's so hard to do that. There must be fragile little men working for this company. That, or divas. My husband called today and demanded to talk to the manager. We were told she would call us. Andrea, the floor supervisor is the one who refused to give the name and phone number to us. After my husband called back because there was no phone call after a few hours, Oscar gave us Victoria's name and told us that she was not going to speak to speak to us. She must be pretty incompetent to not know how to actually run her operation. I'd be embarrassed if I were her. The bad reviews to this page show the lack of knowledge, respect, and work ethic in this place. Entitlement at its finest! Keep up the crap work. The worst company ever, rated F on BBB for good reason. They are a monopoly, they price gauge, they honestly don't care about customers only their bottomline. My city signed a waste management contract with these grifters and my waste collection bill went up 5x what it was with Waste Management. This is a company in breach of contract w/a senior mobile home park in AZ. The park management informed me that this company is contracted to empty trash bins twice a week. There scheduled pickup dates vary and are lengthy. They seem to be extremely mis-managed and/or neglectful in taking care of their obligations to the park in providing acceptable service. Excuses have been rendered by this business that can be remedied: * Paying employees adequate salaries to secure reliable help * Improving maintenance of trucks and bins to allow good working order - bins have broken wheels and bent lids * Adhering to contract scheduling * Availing themselves to communications that embrace certifiable business practices * Demonstrating care and concern The condition of the trash areas is deplorable, drawing flies, rodents and trash buildup outside the receptacles. This service is UNACCEPTABLE and deserves adverse repercussions. read more

One of the most unreliable companies I've ever had to work with on a cleanup project. My mother is a disabled elderly woman. Due to her age and mobility her home has become a mess. She has some pets that had soiled her mattress and her couch. I am her son. I stepped in and started cleaning her house. I contacted CR & R for a large item pickup. The staff were very kind sounding and co-operative, I thought. The first person, Olga, took a payment and assured me that these items would be picked up on Thursday Oct 26th. Their pickup window I was told was from 6 AM to 6 PM. Their hours to their office do not allow for an ability to call until after 8 AM. After that point you could get a supposable accurate 2 hour time window. I called during the day and was told they would arrive between 4 PM to 6 PM. SURPRISE! Next day, nothing was taken. I was told to leave it out and it would still. Get picked up. SURPRISE! Saturday Oct 28th and my Mom's embarrassing pissed soaked mattress and box spring and couch are still sitting out. My Mom has an HOA with strict guidelines that doesn't allow stuff to sit out in the driveway. I got permission from her HOA to get this pickup arranged with the stipulation that it would be out less than 12 hours. The items have now been out for a total of TWO DAYS. I call Monday. I talk to Nicole for a very long time. She apologizes about the items not being picked up. She arranges the items to be picked up the following day on Tuesday OCTOBER 31st, 2017. On Oct. 30th, the day before the pickup, I called and double, triple, quadruple, quintuple (that's 5 different times during the day) called the CR & R company to find make sure the pickup was scheduled. I could not get an accurate time of the pickup any of those times but was assured the pickup was in the books. Tuesday, OCTOBER 31st comes and I decide I'll check what time the junk will be picked up that day. A man named Enrique says that there is no record for a pickup for Tuesday Oct 31st. I am furious to hear this. I remain respectful to the man in the phone and hold back the bad words I'd like to say. This man apologizes and authorizes a pickup for Wednesday and tells me they are making this pickup specially for my Mom's stuff. I call Wednesday Nov. 1st, and ask for the time they will come. I can not get a time from Enrique and he promises to call me later that day with a real time estimate. He tells me 5:30 pm. And he ASSURES me that they are REALLY coming. SURPRISE!!! They lie again. It is disgusting to have to beg people to help you. When you reach out and get reassured they will DO THEIR JOB every time only then to find out every time they DISRESPECT you, they DISRESPECT your elderly disabled Mother, and they have NO VALUE TO BEINB THEIR WORD! The HOA is now not allowing my disabled elderly mother to leave her stuff out as they DO NOT BELIEVE the validity of CR & R to pick it up. They DO NOT WANT to see her stuff sitting out at all. Truly what most of the other reviews say. Unreliable, Unresponsive and certainly one of the worst waste companies in the industry. Called multiple times, spent hours on hold over the course of a week and received absolutely zero service from them. This is a privately held company and their owners should be ashamed of the level of customer care they provide. I have asked 4 days for service that was missed last Friday. I've been told every time that this would be resolved the next (if not the same) business day. BS! Julie told me yesterday that CR&R was so apologetic and work orders were issued. NOTHING. Today Suzanne told me this was escalated and service would come today with the new work order. Even left me a voice mail. NOTHING. They have not responded to any of my 3 (count 'em) emails. What CR&R says and does are 2 different things. Theirs is a service industry and it ain't even close if the folks for whom work orders are issued ignore them. Are they contracted by Costa Mesa? gave 2 stars because I like the large item pick up. the problem is the truck with the claw that picks up the cans in the middle and crushes them tight so it pinches in the middle. Nothing in the bottom half can get out. Trying to find a way to fill the bottom with foam or something so the smelly stuff gets picked up. Driver comes at a different time every week so cant talk to him. read more

They serve our Mobile Home Park, California Palms, in San Jacinto and are very responsive to every single need that we have had, whether it's to get extra pick ups (numerous times), picking up special items such as furniture, extra mattresses, appliances and the like. I called them because I was referred by Midway Sanitation. I needed a dumpster because we are doing a small renovation. I made my reservation, paid in advance, and they gave me a drop off time of 6am-6pm. Not really ideal, but I went with it and hoped for the best. I called late morning the day of delivery to see if I could get an ETA. They were unable to get a hold of the the people to ask at that time and said to call back. So I did and they told me 4:00. This time came and went and it was about 4:45 when I called back. Then they told me closer to 6:00-7:00! Although I was frustrated with the 6:00 time, I figured I wouldn't get too upset because that is the original time they told me. But 7:00 was pushing it. They explained there were issues with the truck. Do they only have 1 delivery truck!?!? When I left to pick up my kids at 7:30 from practice, the dumpster still hadn't arrived. By this time, the workers were fed up after a long day of demo and they went home (they stayed around until 7:00). So guess who got to pay for the workers to come back the next day to load up the dumpster? That's right, me!! I called to express my concern and frustration but was told that they do not offer refunds or discounts. WHAT!?!? They totally dropped the ball! And they never picked up a phone to let me know of the delays. They finally agreed to not charge me if the bin was over the weight limit. I really had no way of knowing if that even mattered, but it was nice that they were able to give me that peace of mind....just in case. They documented each time that I called with notes about who I talked to and what we discussed so it was a quick reference when rectifying the situation. Overall, I am pleased. I feel like I got a good value for what I paid and despite some of the reviews I have read, I was satisfied with the customer service. read more

Lazy drivers! My green waste can is CONSISTENTLY LEFT FULL FOR WEEKS AT A TIME. Calling to complain doesn't even help. They claim they don't have anyone close by this route to have someone pick it up until our next scheduled day. Or they say "leave it out and well see if someone is close to pick it up" yet that never happens. I live in an HOA community and can be fined for leaving my cans out. I pay my trash bill on time, pick up my trash on time EVERY WEEK. I may live in a condominium community and we all don't have a lot of green waste on a regular basis that doesn't mean you just don't come drive through and check. If your job is to pick up the green waste then your job to to drive your complete route and check for green waste. I will also be complaining to my city. This is an ongoing issue I've been experiencing for at least a year. No amount of phone calls directly to CR&R matter. It's unacceptable. CR&R dropped a dumpster off when they said they would, right on time. The dumpster was for a remodel of a rental property. They came in the middle of the day to avoid any loud noises to the neighbors to pick up and drop off. It is only logical that they asked for a credit card to secure payment. When the dumpster was picked up I called to ask what the weight was for the dumpster that I was going to be charged. There were no surprises. I highly recommend them to anyone needing rubbish services. read more

I work for restaurants on the run, and today I was picking up a delivery at el pollo loco. I had went to the bathroom, and accidentally left my phone on the sink. It's a single bathroom that only can be used one at a time by the way. After using the restroom, I packed my order and remembered I left my phone on the sink. I went back to check, but my phone was gone. The manager reviewed the cameras, and the only person who entered in the time I left until I went back was the driver for this company, and an employee. I was there when the employee came out of the bathroom, and the manager immeditely talked to him while I called my phone from hers as he was right in front of me. I then called the company and his manager got into touch with me. The driver also was in line for food before entering bathroom, but never got food and left immediately after using restroom. The manager took my report, stated he would talk to the driver, the manager at el pollo loco, and get back to me. This was at 2:30 p.m. today, and I waited until 6:00 p.m. Until I called him back. There was no answer, and I left a message. I'm meeting the police at el pollo loco tomorrow to look at the video, and see if there is anything they can do. I told the manager I wouldn't call the police if the driver just gave it back if he stole it. I decided to call since I didn't hear back from the manager. I will update this posting to let you know how the company handles this situation and the outcome. As of now horrible rating, these people are suppose to be providing a service to paying companies.
