I have been in the medical field for almost 8 years and never had ANY ISSUE obtaining my CPR/BLS certifications. I know the routine , Arrive at the class, Pay the fee, Sign In, Go through the lecture for anywhere from 2-6 hours, complete a test, Pass and you get your card , Fail and you must re-do. Been easy pea-sy right ?

I booked her class for 09/10 @ 5:30pm -10:00pm supposibly at the Rio hotel in las vegas. (No suite #, No hall #, nothing else, but is at a HUGE hotel) The SECOND i confirmed this class , I received an email from "Freedom Instructing" With a INVOICE included and I was informed to pay BEFORE arrival. Well, what CPR class has EVER did that you ask? Exactly ..... Fishy
I showed up on the date and 30 minutes early so I can hunt for the place cause there was no other info added. So I ended up asking a security guard on his bike, and he seemed confused and told me the ONLY CPR class at the hotel was the ones the employees use and it was under another name. Oh...kayy, thanks .... I proceeded to park and just go in and speak directly with the hotel representative. She transferred me to a events coordinator who then informed me they have never heard of that company and no CPR class was registered to come in that day. Told me they apologize for any inconvenience and we went about our ways.
I IMMEDIATELY went back to my car and contacted my professor to let them know what happened and I would have to reschedule and complete my DUE ASSIGNMENT in the next couple days (booked a different company for 5 days later)
Done.
It is now 10/07 and I awoke to a email from Chestina who is stating I am overdue on a $66 charge for her company. (Mind you, I have NEVER gotten a response from this email, even on the DAY I ARRIVED FOR THEIR "CLASS" And tried to contact them) I emailed her back and said "I'm not paying for shit!!" Yep, I said just that. Because I knew what I did and how I spent MY GAS and had to PAY A BABYSITTER for the day I showed up to the rio hotel and got no response. So she emailed back that she is going to send it to collections. I have spoken to AHA and the company that she works for and they BOTH smell something .
I ended up calling BOTH numbers given to me on this "invoice" And funny that 1 of the instructors blocked my number and Chestina answered her phone and once I started talking to her and questioning her about the emails she found out who I was and HUNG UP!! YESS!! said she didn't have time for this and hung up in my face. Then emailed another invoice again after I called back , then left a voicemail (cause she cannot handle business professionally)
BTW , the company she works under stated Chestina has told them I took the class and failed (I've been certified for years and could do CPR and AED with My eyes closed)
So now , AHA and the company she works under has received all emails, and documents to back my story up. I have recorded phone conversations also and will DEFINITELY be suing if she THINKS she is going to harass me and try to put something on my credit.
