This is a great place to pickup your certificate. Whether you want to be a CNA, CMA, PCT,…read morePhlebotomist or other. ECR has you covered. Their curriculum is faster paced which helps you get into the workforce much sooner than other schools. The establishment is a little on the smaller side but that leads to you forming more connections and getting to know more of your future workmates. They also offer AHA BLS training and the facility is a testing site for state exams so you wouldn't have to go very far for your state tests. The instructors are excellent and Mrs Thomas makes sure that everyone feels welcome and at home. Overall, ECR is an excellent choice if you are wanting to get into the medical field sooner than later.

I came here for a re-certification for CPR, AED, and First Aid for ACI - Adult, Child, and Infant. Laura M. was our Instructor & she led/taught the 4-hour course clearly & concisely. The Q&A between Laura & the students was very helpful in learning the training curriculum. The CPR Training School issue Certification Cards the day of Class as well as offering certification classes 7 days a week. The school also offers additional certifications for BLS for healthcare providers & advanced ACLS. They also provide on-site training for companies & their employees. The CPR Training School can also train individuals to be CPR instructors. A great course, at a good price & I received my Certification Cards via email before I made it home. I'll return to the CPR Training School for my future re-certifications.

Keep going down the hall until you see the Atlanta CPR door. I've gone here 3 times now, including one session for ACLS. Just had my most recent BLS re-certification here, and it couldn't be more of a breeze. Price for BLS at end of 2019 is $75. You have an e-learning session prior to actual skills check. So give yourself a day or two before you schedule the class. You need to complete the e-learning first, print out your certification and bring it with you. Once you sit through your hour long skills check, you'll get your card on the way out. Easy! Steven is the head teacher, and he's a hoot. Will definitely keep the session lively and entertaining. I was impressed with the tech in this recent session. Everything is hooked up to tablets, the baby mannequins glow when you compress or breathe into them. Lastly, I wanted to note one of my fellow students noted how she tried for hours at work (because that's usually free) but still failed and couldn't get her re-cert. So, yes, you're paying money, but it's definitely convenient.

Things to know: Give yourself time to complete the online portion of you choose that route. It takes a few hours but it's no sweat and great to brush up on your skills. Arrive a few minutes early. The class I attended started promptly at its start time, I believe it was 9am. They followed with an ACLS course for some of the class so they want to stay on schedule. The BLS CPR card was available right at the end of the class, the staff was quick and had everything ready to go at the end of the class. Finding it is key! Look for papa Johns parking lot and drive towards the back, it's on the second floor, so if you look up you will see the sign and take the stairs to the right of the sign if you are facing it. That was the hardest part, which wasn't very hard. The teacher was informative and friendly and they used a technology on a screen that kept you on beat which I had never seen before and thought it was pretty cool. I will be back for future certifications and also if you refer friends you can get a discount.

This young man made an experience that can be daunting at times uplifting. Joshua greeted me with open arms, was very professional during the preparation stage for my blood donation, and he made sure the entire process was a success. We need more American Red Cross health professionals like Joshua to ease any anxiety donors, especially first time donors, may have regarding donating blood or platelets.
