I took this class to start at BUMC. It was a 1 on 1 session, where I learned absolutely nothing. The guy was in a bigger hurry to get out of there than if it were on fire. He rushed through the information, seemed annoyed when I asked questions, and when it came time for the test, he just gave me all the answers. Considering I went to an ICU where I faced codes almost daily I felt extremely unprepared. Not only that, but my card was in my wallet when it stolen recently, so when I called the American Heart Association it turned out CPR education didn't even add me to the registry, its the company's choice to do so, or not, so when I reached out to CPR Education asking for my verification # they said they couldn't give it to me and wanted $20 to replace my card. They would not do anything to help me verify with my new job without a $20 payment. How shady is that? I sent a formal complaint to The AHA. The "certificate" they email you is worthless and holds no value with a company that requires you to have your BLS, there's no verifiable infp on it, so be warned. My suggestion, go somewhere else, all they care about is getting your $60 in their hand, and rushing you out the door. read more
