After months of waiting, they still required the $100 bench fee before releasing the computer. We were also verbally told a discount would be provided due to the excessive delay, but when we asked about it we were told it would not be honored because of new ownership. I understand shops get busy and policies can change, but waiting three months for a diagnosis with no communication and then being told the promised discount would not be honored was extremely disappointing. Based on this experience, I would recommend reading other reviews before deciding to bring your computer here.

They took my name down and didn't assist me for at least 20 minutes each time, not to mention the store was never very crowded. Basically, the service "professionals" at the store are inadequate. They don't have the attitude to go out of their way to help you like you'd expect from an employee. One thing I noticed was, the employees barely know how to work the service tablets they carry around... One employee had to ask his supervisor how to work the device on several occasions, which just took extra time. The supervisor was very helpful each and every time I went to this particular Verizon Wireless, but it seemed like he was the only person in the store who knew what he was doing. Don't you think the employees would be trained how to use the equipment at work to begin with? Another thing I don't like about this store is they never have any phones in stock, if you want something new, you're going to have to order it and wait several weeks for it to come in the mail. The only positive thing I can say about the store is it is exceptionally clean and has plenty of areas for you to sit while you wait on the slow, mediocre service. All in all, it was a very below average experience. They can do much better.

Mike also has limited IT experience and many times fumbles around trying to fix issues he doesn't know how to fix while simultaneously doing Google searches (same searches I already saw and tried) and then after wasting a good Amount of time and money brings on a IT tech to try and fix the issue, which is what should have been done from the start. Cooper Group been around for almost 20 years and never had any sort of issue with any vendors until dealing with Mike. It has been confirmed that Mike had had the same issues with other customers her tried to take from his previous employer DBSI, which have also been chased off due to Mike's shady billing practices. Plenty of honest providers out there . Steer clear unless you want to end up in a lawsuit with Mike as many of his previous clients already have. This guy comes off as a used car salesman and lives up to that representation 100%.
