DO NOT USE VIVINT - 0 STARS…read more I had a horrible experience with Vivint. The rep told me that all the equipment was included with the service. That was a lie--I later found out he had financed me for over $4,000 worth of equipment without properly explaining anything. That's deceptive and feels like a scam. I tried to cancel the same day it was installed, but because it was the weekend, I had to wait until Monday. Meanwhile, they had already run my credit and locked everything in overnight. When I finally got someone on the phone, they said it would take 7 to 10 business days just to cancel--after installing everything within hours? Make that make sense. Even worse, when I tried to cancel, they kept me on the phone for over 2 hours, transferring me from person to person who all tried to upsell me instead of just canceling my account. I said "I want to cancel" more than five times, and they continued to push products I didn't ask for. The entire experience was shady, unprofessional, and emotionally draining. Vivint uses manipulative sales tactics and lies to get people locked into long-term contracts. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Don't fall for it--RUN in the opposite direction.

Telling me I have a battery operated smoke detector that I have to change the batteries myself . I thought it was hard wired. Heck I could have gotten a First Alert cheaper. The doorbell has never worked properly. Please avoid this company at all costs!!!!!!!

I spoke to a rep name Gloria she stated that a technician have to come out to fix the doorbell. I told her it was offline all they need to do is reset it. She gave me the run around and said that was the only option it was in to fixing my doorbell. We scheduled the appointment the technician came to my house. Look at the app on my phone called someone from the office and resetted my doorbell. Come to find out they had update in the company that knocked my doorbell camera offline. Why did I have to pay for this. I ask the technician was this something they could have done at the office. He stated yes. Soon as the technician left MX Security called me. I asked them why am I paying for something the could have fixed at the office. The response was I scheduled for a technician to fix the doorbell and I have to $99 it. I told them I wouldn't have scheduled it if they could have been fixed over the phone they said that was the only option. Then the 1st sent me the Gloria who scheduled the appointment. She was a very unprofessional rep. She told me I knew about the $99 fee and they wasn't refunding me the money. I told her that was fine. At this point I was furious because I was going back and forth with this lady that seem like she was arguing with me. I told her that I want the address because now I want to file a complaint. I pay $60 a month to have adequate security system up and running. And to have someone tell me if I didn't pay $99 I have to have only part of my system working for 4 years. This is a terrible company to invest in. They don't have their customers interest at heart. Please be aware of what security companies you choose for your home. I wish the rating could be lower than a 1.

Only because I couldn't give it zero stars! Byron Sill, a rep for North Star Monitoring, is the…read moremost unprofessional person that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I called to cancel service on the second day after his technician, Billy Kennell who apparently works for MX Security came and installed faulty equipment. He was very rushed, seemed agitated and left my home with work unfinished. After attempting to contact Billy after he had told me he would come back the next day but didn't, I contacted Chris Poole, the sales rep to find out what was going on and find a common time for the technician to return. After getting the run-around, I received a text from his technician, Bill Kennell that was intended to go to his sales rep, Chris. Basically it said he hated customers like her (me) and would fuc***** reschedule his life to come install equipment that works. Mind you they had already pulled 60.00 out of my account and I was a customer desiring working equipment. Needless to say there was a lot of butt-kissing and Billy apologized for the text and said it was meant to go to Chris. I decided that I no longer wanted to do business after this text came to me by mistake. I called Byron, the owner of a North Star affiliated company and said that I wanted to cancel and forwarded him the text. He claimed this was not a rep that he typically used and apologized. He said he understood and would shred my contract, pick up his equipment and forget it ever happened if I decided that was what I wanted to do. He told me to think about it and let him know the next day. So here we are, the third day. I call and decide that I do indeed want to cancel. I also tell him that I want my 60.00 refund. He claims that since they monitored for 2 days that I may not get it back so I did tell him it was in his best interest to refund my money or I would put it on social media especially my neighborhood where they are targeting people. He became very aggressive and stated that he would see to it that I could not get out of the contract. I asked for North Stars corporate office phone number and he refused to give it to me. The conversation ended with him saying, "find it yourself, bit**" and hung up the phone. After calling North Star, they were mortified and stated that legally under federal law, I could break the contract up to 3 days after instillation without any financial obligation and the money should be returned. So thank you, North Star Corporate Office. Too bad you have such slimeballs representing you. I have been an educator for 10 years. This is how I teach my students NOT to act or conduct business. ***I would be more than happy to email a screen shot of his vulgar text to this company.

Had lunch here today with our neighbors. It was the first time for all of us. Nice quaint place…read morewith good atmosphere. We got there about 20 minutes after opening and sat in one of the booths. The waiter took our orders quickly and brought out our drinks. We ordered 3 personal pizzas and a steak and cheese sub. We had one plain cheese pizza, a Supreme personal pizza and a build your own personal pizza with pepperoni, onions and mushrooms. We also ordered one small Garden salad. 1 sweet tea, 2 waters and a diet coke. The salad was excellent. Crispy cold lettuce with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, two types of cheese and good croutons with ranch dressing. The steak and cheese sub came out and we were surprised when wee saw the bread. We were expecting a regular style hoagie bun or baguette type bun, but looked almost like a pita bread from the top. I asked the waiter what type of bread it was and he said they make their own bread. It was excellent. Looked like a naan bread almost. She ordered jalapeno's on it and it was excellent. Said she'd order it again. The pizzas were good. I had the supreme and the sausage was real good. We all agreed that the crust and cheese were very good. Two of us thought the sauce was different and must've had something it it, as they didn't rave over the sauce. I had the supreme and there were so many toppings that I didn't pay much attention to the sauce. Mine was very good. We were surprised that they only offer two sizes of pizzas...personal and large. Large is $24.95 and personals are around $14.95. They have a good selection of pizzas. Our one complaint was the pricing. They charge $2.00 for toppings and $3.00 got premier toppings. It's the same charge for either the personal or large pizzas. Our personal Cheese pizza (with no toppings) was $9.50. My personal Supreme pizza was $14.95 (which contained mushrooms, onions, pepperoni, bacon, black olives and green pepper) while my wife ordered just a personal pepperoni with onions ($2) and mushrooms ($3), totaling $15. Seems like they'd charge less for toppings on a personal size than on a large! My bill as $43.97 before the tip. Our neighbors bill for their pizza, sandwich and drink was $32.59 before tip. They were charged $4 for jalapeno's on the side and slices of tomato.
