We got there about 20 minutes after opening and sat in one of the booths. The waiter took our orders quickly and brought out our drinks. We ordered 3 personal pizzas and a steak and cheese sub. We had one plain cheese pizza, a Supreme personal pizza and a build your own personal pizza with pepperoni, onions and mushrooms. We also ordered one small Garden salad. 1 sweet tea, 2 waters and a diet coke. The salad was excellent. Crispy cold lettuce with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, two types of cheese and good croutons with ranch dressing. The steak and cheese sub came out and we were surprised when wee saw the bread. We were expecting a regular style hoagie bun or baguette type bun, but looked almost like a pita bread from the top. I asked the waiter what type of bread it was and he said they make their own bread. It was excellent. Looked like a naan bread almost. She ordered jalapeno's on it and it was excellent. Said she'd order it again. The pizzas were good. I had the supreme and the sausage was real good. We all agreed that the crust and cheese were very good. Two of us thought the sauce was different and must've had something it it, as they didn't rave over the sauce. I had the supreme and there were so many toppings that I didn't pay much attention to the sauce. Mine was very good. We were surprised that they only offer two sizes of pizzas...personal and large. Large is $24.95 and personals are around $14.95. They have a good selection of pizzas. Our one complaint was the pricing. They charge $2.00 for toppings and $3.00 got premier toppings. It's the same charge for either the personal or large pizzas. Our personal Cheese pizza (with no toppings) was $9.50. My personal Supreme pizza was $14.95 (which contained mushrooms, onions, pepperoni, bacon, black olives and green pepper) while my wife ordered just a personal pepperoni with onions ($2) and mushrooms ($3), totaling $15. Seems like they'd charge less for toppings on a personal size than on a large! My bill as $43.97 before the tip. Our neighbors bill for their pizza, sandwich and drink was $32.59 before tip. They were charged $4 for jalapeno's on the side and slices of tomato.

This morning, while at Momma Rabbit's Nibbles and Sips, my wife, our barely 2 year old son and a friend were told by who I assume to be one of the owners, that if she was not able to "quiet" my child down, she would have to "take him outside" for fear that he make start to "rile other kids that were there up, and we can't have that". My son, who, again is barely 2, sat in his high chair the entire time, threw not one piece of food on the ground, and sat as politely as a 2 year old could, occasionally cheering "YEAHH" whenever our friend or my wife did something he found entertaining. YES his voice was elevated the few times he cheered, YES there were SIX other children of varying ages in the restaurant all making noises (as all children do), YES it is a very casual restaurant serving breakfast and lunch, and YES there was a grown man sitting at a table near them talking on the phone, on speaker I will point out, for several minutes. So to say that both her and our friend were shocked would be the understatement of the year. We have visited this restaurant on countless occasions, with friends, with my wife, with my children, purchased freezer meals from them, done our parts of supporting a small local business, all to be told to quiet our child down who was making far less noise than many other people were in this restaurant. My wife spent most of her young adult and adult career working in and managing numerous successful restaurants spanning an almost 11 year period. I am appalled, disgusted, and saddened at this clear lack of compassion, professionalism, and customer service. And we wonder why moms are fearful to take their children out in public these days. My wife ordered a 14 oz rib eye, MEDIUM RARE but it was MEDIUM WELL; it was tough, not tender so she ate only half. Again, don't send it back due to knowledge and experience. Son ordered full rack of ribs that were overcooked and didn't fall from the bone from being too tender, the meat crumbled off the bone because it was burned; it was actually crispy. He ate most but was disappointed. Party #4 cleaned his plate but he will eat anything. I was bewildered that the waitress didn't tell me initially that there was no cream gravy since I emphasized that I enjoyed cream gravy on my steak and potatoes. I could have ordered another menu item if I had known there was no cream gravy. The way the country fried steak, ribs and ribeye items were cooked is sad; we came to Texas Roadhouse due to great reputation but we went home terribly disappointed. We live in Elgin, SC (about 12 miles) and the route to your restaurant on Two Notch Road in Columbia has many other restaurants and I wish I had stopped elsewhere. It is terrible to be disappointed on such a festive day, especially since we arrived early so not to be involved in the Holiday rush but that was not a good choice to facilitate things.
