Worked on my roof, pretty much got a brand-new roof installed cost me £6500 and 4 weeks later the roof leaking again. Gave a 15 guarantee and now when I've called him, his just not picking up or when he does pick up, saying he'll get round to it, it's been over a week and my ceiling is getting worse. Got a second and third opinion on the roof and the roofer who's checked it have said they've done an awful job. I'll need stack needs launching, 80 tile replacing, dry bounding valley 4 tiles, tiles at top cut back and cut back of felt. I don't even know what to say about this absolute con artist! He is a number 1 scammer and I suggest you stay far away and don't fall for his fake reviews like we did...He has done an absolute shit show of a job, he lies so confidently that he makes you think he's got your best interest but absolutely not!!! He is all about scamming money out of you, he started off giving us one price baring in mind he had checked the roof 2/3 times at this point, a few days in the price increased by £2000 which we agreed to pay, then again they tried to increase the price again by a further £700 which at that point we said no, we'd get the £700 worth of work done at a later date as it wasn't anything major. Since having the roof fitted, we have had guests come to our home and straight away spot the many issues with the roof which was extremely embarrassing for us. Besides the above, since the roof was supposedly completed by this company, we have had to call them back four times to fix the work they have done, I don't know which people he picks up from the street and sends to finish his job as it looks like there's not much experience amongst them. He doesn't even stick to his word, we had to remind him many times that we are waiting for someone to come out and he would give us a date and no one would turn up. As first time buyers with no roofing experience we really trusted these guys to make things right for us, but it got so frustrating we had to call in other companies to come and check the roof to which our surprise 4 out of 4 roofers all had many complaints about this company, they could not believe the level of work that had been completed in the price we paid and that we should try and get our money back for this, which was just even more frustrating for us, we have now had to pay another roofer extra to come and sort issues out for us, because of the above, my husband got back in touch with Jimmy or whatever the owners name is and explained some of the issues and requested that we got a refund for the mess he created, to which we were greeted with pure aggression, swearing, threatening tones and abuse from the company owner, which was quite scary to be honest because that kind of reaction from a business owner is not okay and extremely uncomfortable knowing that people are allowing this kind of person into their home, my husband was not rude nor aggressive if anything he was fed up of the hassle that has been caused by these guys this has been ongoing for 8 months now, and the owners behaviour kind of proved the level of work, because only a liar that knows they're in the wrong would get so defensive. After been let down by numerous roofers who promised me the world but never turned up. I finally contacted James from CPB Roofing after reading his reviews. I was not disappointed. Without hesitation he offered me a quote over the phone and said him and his lads would be at my address that very afternoon. He kept me posted via text and answered my calls, which all the previous roofers failed to do, and most importantly turned up when he said he would. He was a pleasant gentleman, really down to earth, and very polite. His team replaced my broken tiles in no time and off they went.
