But most importantly, this Burts is attached to one of my family's preferred urgent cares/fam doc. So,Dr. Nyat Voh is the reason we drive there from West Simi Valley to Moorpark Comprehensive Urgent Care but now, Burts has reopened a new attached-pharmacy so once again, our family can see doc & get meds all in one stop! In addition, this pharmacy is thorough as well as very friendly. Med Equip was one of the companies my Hospice company worked with. I always knew them to provide excellent products and service. Recently, I needed medical equipment for my husband during a very difficult and emotional time. Med Equip was wonderful. Their pricing was fair, and they were calm, kind, efficient, and genuinely helpful. What impressed me most was the human side of their service. They understand that when someone is calling for medical equipment, there is usually a loved one who is ill and a family going through a difficult time. That understanding came through in every interaction. Most importantly, they treated me like a person rather than a transaction. Excellent prices, excellent products, and truly kind people. I highly recommend Med Equip.

We were having an incredibly hard time finding a pharmacy that could order a newer medication for…read moremy daughter. Initially CVS told us they could order it no problem, but once the doctor actually sent the prescription over, they basically sat on it for weeks before eventually telling us they couldn't get it after all. Super frustrating considering this was medication my daughter actually needed and we kept getting the runaround. I called what felt like every pharmacy in existence and most of them pretty much immediately said they couldn't help. A friend recommended Home Health Pharmacy to me, so I went in the same day to explain the situation. I spoke with the pharmacist Jason, and honestly the difference in care was immediately noticeable. He told me he could transfer the prescription from CVS, order the medication, and have it ready the very next day. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely put my mind at ease after a really stressful experience. What's even crazier is CVS told us the medication would cost around $600 a month. Home Health Pharmacy was able to get it down to $445, so we'll be saving about $155 every month on this medication. The medication ended up being ready the next day exactly as promised -- actually earlier than I expected. They also offer delivery, which is amazing. Having worked in a pharmacy myself for 7 years, I really appreciated the level of care here. It reminded me of how pharmacies used to feel before everything became giant corporations where you're just another number in the system. You can really feel the difference with a small family pharmacy that actually cares about helping people.
