Later, I went to Angelino's next door and was warned not to park here because of their reputation. I also heard from someone who experienced unauthorized credit card charges after using their services. Conversations with other attendees confirmed a pattern--many avoid events here due to the staff's rudeness and inflexible policies. Questions about arrival times or dinner plans are handled disrespectfully, leaving clients frustrated. Overall, this business is unprofessional, dismissive, and completely lacks common courtesy. We mainly wanted valet parking services because of necessity unlike most people who use it as a luxury or to add a nice touch. It is impossible to park outside our house and we live at the top of a hill so we wanted to use valet parking to make it easier for our guests. First, let's start from the beginning, there is no automated voice answering machine when you call the office. Nothing is a bigger let down in customer service in this era of new technology than some computer voice saying, "Press 1 for da-da-da..." In addition, he also provides his cell phone number. It doesn't get ANY better than that. I can't tell you how frustrating it is when you need to reach the service owner immediately and it's night and the only number you have is their office phone. I haven't even met Derek in person; the entirity of the service was done via phone/email. However, make no mistake, he comes HIMSELF to visit your residence to survey the area. I didn't meet him during that visit because I was out-of-town, yet my mom talked with him and she was very pleased. Fast-forward to a week before the event, Derek gives me a quote for the services to be delivered. I found it a bit on the high side, but he had ABSOLUTELY no problem negotiating and I managed to pay a price I was VERY comfortable with. The day of the event, guest after guest commented on how EXTREMELY courteous the staff was. They greeted all of our guests with a "Welcome to the graduation party." and did a superb job with parking the cars. In the end, when there were only a few guests left, I told the valet drivers they could leave after the rest of the cars were brought back. They were one step ahead, all of the remaining cars were parked in front of the house and they had the keys ready to give to me. Whenever we plan to use valet services in the future, which will definitely be a must because again, it is more of a necessity with our residence, we will definitely look to Precision Parking again!

These guys run a sleazy operation. If your car is damaged under their care they simply will not…read moretake responsibility for their actions. All they have to do is deny that they did it and wait for you to give up on them repairing your car. To make matters worse the typical type of damage your car will get from a valet company will be less than your deductible so you will have to fix your car out of pocket. Unless you do a video "walk around" with the valet before and after you drop your car off to them, which is not likely, they will never own up to any damage done to your car. Peninsula Parking knows this and they bake this knowledge into their business model. Because my car was returned to me at night in the rain I did not notice the damage to my rear bumper until the next morning. To make matters worse they accused me of trying to scam them into fixing damage that I did to my car. When I first contacted this company to report the damage to my car they did not return my calls or emails. After several calls and emails, I finally got through to someone because I asked to speak to their sales team (they picked up the phone when they thought I was a prospective customer). They told me that they would "investigate the matter" and get back to me. A week later they got back to me and told me that after their "internal investigation" they have concluded that they are not responsible for the damage to my car. When I asked them for a copy of their investigation they refused to share it with me. In a nut shell, Peninsula Parking is selling a bad product do not give them your business. That really upset me as I thought they would be moving it right away when they told us to leave it there. By the time we had returned to the hotel it had been moved but it was still very inconsiderate. I found it annoying that they did not take cash when wanted to pick up our vehicle but they made sure to tell us it was fine to TIP in cash. Then we got charged a convenience fee of $2.50? A convenience fee is an extra charge added to a transaction when you pay using an alternative, non-standard method to cash. It compensates the business for the cost of processing the payment but you do not give the option to pay in cash and yet still charge the fee. Make it make sense. Also, our dashcam was unplugged. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt on that one and say maybe that was done because they were worried it wouldn't turn off and didn't want our battery to die, instead of my default assumption that they didn't want us to have proof of whatever happened to our car in their custody. I honestly don't know. I didn't notice anything missing or see any new scratches so I guess it could have been worse. Still, I would never park in front of a driveway and things like that make me never want to use valet.

Five minutes before the scheduled pickup time, my cellphone rang and the driver let me know he had arrived. Great! The car itself was sleek and nice, the driver pleasant. I took away one star because I was charged $25 instead of the the $20 quoted on the website for a ride less than 4 miles (still gave a 25% tip despite). I would suggest confirming with the dispatcher the quoted price on the website when scheduling a car. Otherwise, a smooth ride.
