I had water leaking into my basement from the window well which caused a lot of water damage. When I called up the company they sent someone out right away. After a quick inspection they were able to determine the cause and had it fixed within an hour. They also noticed that my down spout wasn't set up correctly and fixed that as well. They were very professional and friendly even offering advice on how to maintain the window well so this wouldn't happen again. I would highly recommend this company!

The day arrived for our appointment, it was a cold rain, and it was very evident that he was not prepared (in how he was dressed to inspect outdoors), nor did he seem to care less to have our business. He provided some alternative (interim/band-aid) methods in 'managing' the issue indoors, drill holes to let the water run down below the floor (drain off). He seemed rather in a hurry (didn't want to get his senior head wet; that's the message he literally gave us) and didn't even show interest when I had other concerns at the back of the house. Within the next couple of days it continued to rain and our back window well filled, causing other issues that he did not address with us. We ended up going with a competitor who was fair, friendly, helpful and interested in having our 'little job' business.

Thanks to Jennifer Curry , a seasoned designer and professional I could not be happier. Jennifer's product knowledge and sense of design made me feel confident that I was in capable hands. From start to finish Jennifer followed up with me through each phase of the project. When the delivery of my kitchen sink was delayed, her dedication to customer service kicked into full gear and resolved to issue very quickly. I really appreciated that. I want to give a shout out to the TGi team who made this project come together. Each and everyone involved was professional and brought their " A" game . A shout out to Steph who templated the job. He is a mathematician genius. The installers , Mohammed , Damien, Malek and Nath. Bashir, Felipe and his assistant. There is one other installer whose name I didn't catch. This business makes custom wood furniture, but also has courses on woodworking and allows you to make use of their extensive selection of power and hand tools by purchasing block of time. e.g. 10 hours of time in the workshop for $150. You are required to take a training course for each of the power tools before you can use them, and the cost is $20 per course. I've taken several and found every course to be helpful, both int terms of learning how to use the tools safely but also to get a sense of the best ways to use them. There is even a laser cutter which can be used for project such as engraving . 16+ for hand tools and 18+ for power tools. I took one course on making a wooden cutting board and would highly recommend their courses for anyone that wants to give woodworking a try They are within about two minutes walk of a specialty lumber store called KJP Select Hardwoods which is quite convenient.

He always implied before this that he would be doing the work. The man he sent did a really good job but I still felt scammed. I was paying him for nothing! Additionally, he requested a deposit. I told him I was not comfortable paying in advance and would pay when the job was complete. I did offer to pay for the paint or go buy the paint. When the job is partly complete on day one, he came to my home again requesting a deposit, sent me a very snotty email telling me how much deposit he normally expects and that payment in full is due the next day. He made it sound like I wasn't willing to pay. The man gave me a very scamming feeling and would never recommend him to anyone.

This is IMHO the best place to buy tiles for your home renovations. But don't expect to get away…read morefrom here inexpensively! It's a higher quality establishment, where you will pay for what you get, and be happy with the results. The service is good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. After looking and looking, going from hardware store to hardware store across the city, finding tiles that were not quite right, we finally caved in to come in and look at what these guys had to offer. I have to be honest though: at least one of the hardware stores told us the same thing they told us here - you couldn't walk away with the product; they had to order it in from somewhere else and it took time (a week or two, at most). So if you're laying tiles, take the time to plan for enough time to complete the work. Still, this establishment had some of the nicest displays we saw anywhere; it was well worth the trip out here. In our particular case, we brought a piece of the existing tile to compare with, so that we could find a complementary colour. This worked well for us.

Buyers need to beware that they have a non-published 30-day return policy on any excess tile. The count for that 30 days is as soon as the tile arrives in their warehouse, not when you receive it.
