This guy charges for time while crew at lunch, Travel time from his business location and even throws in a 180.00 charge for possible time spent in traffic taking you very expensive tree cutting to the city disposal site. In addition, if you dispute his charges and withhold a bit of $$, he then threatens you with a late fee of 25%+ of original invoice. Not over a year but if entire bill not paid within 30 days....

I phoned the owner who was surprised that I was upset (I may have raised my voice as I was upset) who said that he wasn't responsible because his crew had done the work. I pointed out that he was the boss and it was his responsibility. He had the crew return and they got out a power branch cutter this time and cut out some of the branches. My wife had to tell them which branches they missed. They did not use their cherry-picker to trim/cut branches out of reach of their power cutter. They never climbed the tree and said that my wife had told them to prune the tree so that it would look like the neighbour's. In fact she told them to do it the same way as they were going to do the neighbour's, quite a difference. They also sat in their truck for about 20 minutes doing nothing, but resting. They also said that they have an hourly rate of $250 but my neighbour had arranged for the flat rate of $400 plus tax. Not recommend and will not use again.

Brought in a crew of 5-6 people and several pieces of heavy equipment. In less than 4.5 hours he had five 40+ ft trees down, stumps ground, mulch cleaned up and removed and the ground leveled (with a skid steer). VERY reasonable. I could not be happier with the job and professionalism!
