This was the first time he needed cavities treated, which felt overwhelming as a parent because unfamiliar environments, people, and equipment can be especially difficult for autistic children. Dr. Chris was incredibly calm, patient, and compassionate. He met our son where he was, spoke to him in a gentle and reassuring way, and used playful interactions to help him feel safe and comfortable. Because of that support, our son was even able to tolerate an X-ray, which was a huge milestone. We love the TV screen with cartoons on the ceiling which engages kids quite well! I was also very nervous about the anesthesia, but Dr. Chris was so understanding and reassuring throughout the process. His experience with autistic children truly shows, and it made all the difference for our family. We highly recommend him.

During our last appointment this same dentist performed our exam. Again, zero introduction. He walks in the room and asks my 9 year old "what questions do you have for me?" Not sure how a 9 year old would respond. My son is super proud of not having any cavities but this dentist only provided negative feedback, commenting on something my son might be missing. After that appointment, I called the office to provide feedback, and they assured me that the next appointment would be with Dr Patterson. Fast forward 6 months and I get the reminder for our appointment in a couple of days which states that our appointment is with the dentist we do not prefer. I call the office about this, and the staff member begins throwing out new times that do not work for children in school. I ask if I can have someone call me back so I can understand how our original request wasn't honored and she stated that she could "try to have Tara call me back." Unfortunate that this was our experience. I recommend proactive communication when deciding to switch patients' providers to they can make informed decisions regarding their care. We won't return.

In outdoor lighting it was even more noticeable and honestly embarrassing. We agreed to have him redo them and also veneer the two side teeth. During the process, while he was grinding the side teeth, he actually knicked a small chunk out of one of my existing veneers. On top of that, the lab kept producing veneers that looked completely unnatural and did not match my teeth at all. At this point I lost trust in the entire process and decided to go somewhere else. I did not even receive a refund for the damaged veneer, and they refused to offer any type of partial refund even though the work was never completed and the original issue was never corrected. He also did a very poor job explaining the process and I still do not understand why he did not properly block the gray the first time when that was the entire reason I went there. I strongly advise avoiding this office for veneers. Dr. Henes is not a professional cosmetic dentist and the work left my teeth looking worse than when I started.

In our case, my daughter needed no fillings or nitrous despite Dr. Mahajan's recommended 4 fillings, and my son needed 1 crown and 1 filling despite her recommended 2 crowns and 4 fillings. This disparity is concerning at best and potentially unethical at worst. Do not take your kids here.

I've always had an extreme fear of visiting a dentist; a family member died in the dentist chair…read morewhen I was a child (illogical, as she didn't actually die due to dentistry, but it scarred me.) Anyway, this fear resulted in the fact that I hadn't been to a dentist for over 25 years!! I only mention this with the hope that it will encourage someone else in the same boat to take action. Two weeks ago, I finally had had enough with the pain that a wisdom tooth was causing. I bit the bullet and scheduled a next day appointment for a checkup and an extraction. Dr. Orr was very understanding about my anxiety and the embarrassing state of my dental health. They took a complete set of x-rays, discussed a game plan and went ahead with the extraction (painless, by the way, with no later complications.) I returned today, 11 days later, to have the other wisdom tooth extracted, 1st half of a deep cleaning and several composite fillings...all again with no pain and Dr. Orr again. I'm home with no pain and feeling much relieved. I'll be back next week to complete the deep cleaning and additional fillings and have ZERO anxiety about it. Thanks to you all!

I had an appointment scheduled with my healthcare provider at 10:00am and arrived at Comfort Dental at 11:15am. I was in a tremendous amount of pain. I was told the dentist had stopped taking walk-ins but asked them to check to see if he could see me because I believed I had an infection. My dentist agreed. When I was called back and seated in the chair a woman I didn't know proceeded to harass me because I hadn't seen the endodontist I was referred to. She never introduced herself . The rudeness was shocking. My dentist came in and took over helping me get the medicines I needed to treat the infection. He is a great person but I am not sure I will go back there.
