They were very tidy using drop cloths on the carpet and cleaned up after themselves; unlike a lot of handymen/ contractors. Our staircase not only looks better, but is as solid as a rock and not all wobbly like it was before. To give you an idea of the situation: imagine budgeting $16k for a project. You meet with them, they walk the site, review the plans, and enthusiastically agree to the price to "earn your business." However, two weeks after signing the contract and handing over a deposit, they suddenly claimed the project would now cost $29K. My key Issues: Bait-and-Switch Pricing: The final quote was more than double the original agreed-upon price with vague and VERY inconsistent reasoning. Vanishing Deposit: When I chose to cancel due to the massive price hike, they claimed my entire deposit had already been "used up" on excavation. Lack of Integrity: They committed to a budget just to get the signature, only to move the goalposts immediately after. We are currently pursuing legal action to address these practices. This company is simply not worth the stress or the financial risk.
