    I've had about all I can stand with Cox cable!!! I had purchased the contour cable box for…read moreresidential use and they told me that a tech would need to come out and set the cable up. Not a problem, understandable. The only available times are at/after 5 and the range is 5pm-8pm. Hell, why don't they just say we'll be there sometime between sun-up and sun-down. Not real happy about the times but at least I'm not missing much work. Anyhow, the day came when they were supposed to have a tech come out for hook up. Guess what, tech never showed up. Just a little upset I called customer service and talked with someone about my issue (on phone almost 45 minutes) and they assured me that a tech would be out for the next scheduled appointment. So, finally a tech shows up but it's a 3rd party tech. He hooks up box, couldn't get a picture, and gives up. Tells me that we need to schedule another appointment to come out and fix. I agreed but now I'm getting pretty upset. So, the following day I go to Cox in New Iberia and tell them what's going on. Of course they are all apologetic and tell me they will resolve the issue by reserving an in-house tech on the work order for ANOTHER APPOINTMENT. So, that day came and I get a call from their dispatch asking if I was home. I told them I was and they told me that the same guy that was scheduled to come out to my house was the same 3rd party guy that didn't hook up my cable the first go round. Oh, I forgot to mention that when the guy came the first go round he did something to the Internet and has been slow ever since. Moving on........ So, when they told me that the same guy was coming out I told them that there would be no point of sending him because he was at a loss the first time. I call customer service AGAIN. They assured me that an IN-HOUSE technician would be coming to my house TODAY between hours of 5pm-7pm. Guess what, no one showed up!!!!!! I don't know what to do? This has become a full time job and not to mention the hours at work lost and 2 baseball practices for my son. I want to tell them to stick and change providers but I don't know if it's worth the hassle. SERVICE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm loosing count now but I think I'll be on round 6 if I decide to keep them. Very disappointed!
