This place is quite a bit away from where I live, but it was worth to visit :] Definitely worth to go to if you have your way to nearby garden centre Raemoir. We came straight for 6pm when they open and were surprised by such a queue to the attached fish and chip shop :D ...started to wonder if it will be similar food in the restaurant.
We have got normal or Christmas menu and a grill list and all looked pretty good :) All of us were pretty happy with our choices: interesting smoked salmon, haggis parcel and I had goats cheese with fresh orange. Then we had a duck meal and two steaks. My favourite part however, were the desserts :} (as usual).
The service was quite funny - but I think our company made him a bit nervous because my group came with a lot of stories, which probably side tracked the waiter a little :D but the atmosphere was nice and we had a nice evening, so little waiting didn't bother us much.
In general, I think this is place worth to visit while passing through Aberdeenshire. read more
