The bartender was pretty friendly and the music being played on the jukebox was great too, just what you'd expect for the area. Beers here were a little pricier than you'd expect from a hole in the wall, but everyone here is so friendly. It's not everyone's scene, but it seems like more locals than anything come here.

It complemented the Redfish. The only thing that I would improve on would be the grits. They were a little dry. My husband ordered the pepperoni pizza and Ashley recommended the pepper jelly with it. Dark, long wooden bar full of an entertaining cast of regulars and Tracy - the bartender extraordinaire who is funny and has everyone's 'number'. She knows their story and she takes care of everyone with a laugh and sometimes a story (if she has time). So imagine my surprise when I hear several regulars ordering steak TO GO! What? So, we asked. Yep, they cook steaks once a week on Wednesday. We ordered a filet and a filet burger To Go. These guys cook a kick ass, tender, perfectly cooked steak! Better than many steak restaurants. No joke. I hate to let the cat out of the bag since the place is small and packed even on a Wednesday night, but The Corner Bar is a hoot.
