The restaurant feels like a true community gathering place. The team was welcoming, attentive, and full of energy. It was especially nice to see young people working hard, serving guests, and gaining valuable experience during the summer season. While she was nice and really tried but was she knew nothing about the products or the priced that she was serving. All of the staff were respectful and friendly. One of the reviews I read said that they had smoked bacon ends but when I asked for the bacon ends, the fellow who acted like a manager said they have never had smoked ends of any kind. To sum up. I've been other times that were fine. Today they informed me there is a $1 up-charge if I want room for cream. So let's review - they're going to charge me MORE for LESS coffee and the 1 inch or less of cream. Congrats on being the first coffee shop out of the hundreds I've visited around the world that charges extra for cream. I am the type that drives out of my way to support small businesses that I think are struggling. This one never has any people there but they are literally trying to drive away business.
