I recently had to help someone get out of jail and visited Cowboys bail bonds. I am taking the time to provide feedback because of the negative experience.
First of all the Cowboys Bail Bonds representative struck me as a hybrid mix of a mortgage loan officer and a used car salesman. The pricing that was quoted by phone was not honored and after investing a significant amount of time interviewing with their agent I was told that it would be 150% of the amount quoted. The underwriting process and guidelines were excessively conservative and there was an extreme sense of uncertainty even after they accepted my money. When I pointed out that a competitor offered a better price and was able to get the job done faster the Cowboys representative slandered the competitor, made inaccurate claims related to his own fee schedule, and inaccurate statements as to the allocation of the monies collected.
To sum it up, be prepared to be over charged and treated as if you and the person you are helping to get out of jail are a huge risk for their business and you are lucky that they can provide their services. read more
