My experience was completely different from the other reviewer. I was booked for a rather minor offense - Class B misdemeanor. The person who arraigned me thankfully gave a minor hint at reputable bail bond companies. While this is a no-no, I could't have been more greatful that this person had compassion for me in such a vulnerable position. I did not have anyone to call for help and was at the mercy of everyone involved in the Dallas criminal "injustice" system. Not a good place to be for anyone, especially a lady with no criminal experience. I dealt with the company's owner, Jerry Kell, who happened to be manning the phone when I made my phone call. I needed someone I could trust with my personal information, including a credit card. Within 15 minutes or so of the call, Mr. Kell arrived at the facility where I was being held to pick up my credit card. This was my only chance of being released! A little over 2 hours after picking up my credit card, I was released. Mr. Kell handled my paperwork efficiently and professionally. He was respectful and treated me with dignity, not as a convicted criminal (though I wish I could say the same for many of the staff and police at the jail). A word of advice to anyone seeking bail bond services: you are at their mercy. Be polite, courteous, and check your ego at the door. This applies whether you are the "prisoner" or a friend/loved one of the detainee. This is no time to "throw your weight around" or behave like an entitled jerk. If the person from whom you are requesting help is a jerk, then suck it up and by all means, control your temper! Your goal is to be released, not impress the guy behind the desk. I just want to say Angelica and Angel have been nothing BUT Amazing we have used them multiple times after having a bad experience with another bond company and Angelica is always available to answer questions day or night and she always finds a way to help us and anyone and everyone who needs it. Of course I'm upset because I'm located in a different state trying to bail a family member out of jail. They were patient with me, and never made me feel "less" because of what my family was going through. They accepted my payment over the phone; with approval. These people are everything you are looking for in a bail bond's company. I called around to several other Bondsmen close to Lew Sterritt. Doc's gave me a fair price for bailing my idiot son out. Amy Lee was very professional and friendly.They worked with me on a payment plan since I didn't have the full bail amount. I would recommend them to anyone that needs to bail their idiot out of jail.
