The outside area is super cute, the inside is unique and taverny, and the staff were so nice. I also loved their merch. What left a bad taste in our mouths was the beer (literally). I so badly want to love this spot but the beer is just bad. We are avid brewery visitors, locally and around the country, and even have friends who brew and this is the only spot where no one at the table wanted to finish a beer. We ordered 2 flights both times to get a sense of everything they do, and every single beer was mediocre with a horrible aftertaste. I wish this spot would work on 1-2 flagship brews and make them taste as good as the spot feels. We probably will not be back and with so many other great options around, wouldn't recommend.

While we waited, we enjoyed an Edward beer from Hill Farmstead. Our lunch arrived in around 15 minutes and it looked great. The fish was haddock and it was cooked perfectly. The outside was crunchy and the inside was hot and moist. The taste, with the tartar sauce, was excellent as well. We thought the french fries were very good too. The cole slaw, however, was just average. The weather was perfect and the view was beautiful. The service was also very good. That's why this year they get five stars.

Awesome place. If you have not been to Le Belvedere and you're within 50 miles of Newport, get your appetite there. You won't regret it! Bon Appetit! Never been to Le Belvedere when I didn't have a terrific meal or terrific service. Tonight was to die for lamb (that's in your recipe book, look it up), and chicken stuffed with lobster and crab. You could be forgiven for giving it five stars just for the sunsets, but when you include the view it adds to a ten.
