My family - my wife, I and our three grand-kids (13, 7 and 2 years old) came to the pool in the morning. Main entrance to family locker room was locked. One of two changing rooms was locked. But it was not the worst. When my 2 years old granddaughter under my wife supervision was playing with her small (3 inch), soft (made of rubber), floating duckling, some lifeguard came up to them. He forbade my granddaughter to play with her duckling in the pool. I've asked him: Why? He answered: Because of the pool rule - "NO TOYS IN THE POOL". I've asked him: Why? Is this toy dangerous to anyone? He rudely replayed: "Because this is the rule!" We had to take the toy from our kid. She started crying. Thus the person ruined our granddaughter's joy. I've asked him twice: What is your name? He refused to answer. Finally, I figured out his name from another person. His name is Bill. I understand that Bill hid his name because he knew that he had done something inappropriate. We used to attend the pool for more than 10 years. They also tore down the family slide over the winter. That was our favorite ride! Loved it! It was getting too old and too expensive to maintain. On the bright side. I like the tropical palm tree theming of the wave pool. They had plenty of tubes and we had a blast splashing around. The dump bucket area is still there, and the kids get a thrill counting down to the next dump of water. Today they had a zip line, and it was not extra. It was included in the price of entry. During the week it is $8 for all which is a great deal. During the weekend they offer a discount to Oakland county residents. The zip line was amazing fun, perfect for small kids through adults. The food looks and smells enticing like an amusement park. The pricing is very good. You can also bring in your own food, but no glass or alcohol. People often bring in fast food, or food to bbq. They have grills. I come here at least once a summer. I hope they will be able to build a new attraction. The slide was a great loss. They also seem to be having staffing issues. During the month of June they were only opened until 3:00. They seemed to have resolved that issue. We look forward to coming back.

There were grills there, bathrooms, a small beach area, they also have kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. you are wearing life jackets the whole time and there are about 3/4 lifeguards out there while your on the island. 10/10 would come again P.S Need a Michigan recreation passport for your car $17 for the whole year cash only

He said it was because it was more work than he thought it would be, but never discussed any of these extra charges with us. He also said that we knew it would be more than $450 because it was such a large job, but again that was not true he never discussed it with us that it would be more the $450. He was rude when we called to talk to him about it and got upset with us because we never came out to talk to him while they were there cleaning the pool. We were at work each time he came so how could we? To top it all off the pool was open but not completely cleaned. There was still tons of vacuuming that needed to be done and it was disgusting the way he left it. However, he told us he was done cleaning it and it was our turn now. Yes that's right he said it was our turn to take it over when it wasn't even fully cleaned. Not only did he not finish the job and demand we pay him more but I had to continue to clean my yard every night when I got home.
