The lady helped me decide which and what size washers to use. Then she helped me set the temp and rinse selection, finishing with using my credit card. I really like using my cc and not having to mess with change to feed into the machines. I noted the time and returned to do the drying. The owner greeted me and helped me decide which dryers to use for my heavy loads. She helped me decide how much time and temperature I needed as I was not familiar with the machines. I returned after about 1/2 hr. Everything was complete and clean and dry. The premises was clean and I saw the owner cleaning up the machines and removing the lint. I will be returning when I need to clean my blankets and throw rugs (I have washer/dryer at home for our clothes). I definitely recommend this business. I threw the load in the machine, put in the quarters and read a magazine. When the machine stopped, I lifted the lid and "OH NO", I had overfilled the machine so my clothes were still not done. Just then the owner "Manny" came in. I told him my problem. He showed me how much to fill the machine, we split the laundry into 2 machines and started them up. Best thing he paid! When my load was done he showed me how to use the high-efficiency spin dryer which saved a lot of driving time. In short if you need a laundromat either on a regular basis or emergency, I recommend you go to Storrs Home Style Laundry across the street from EO Smith high school near the Uconn campus. Exceptionally clean, not crowded and terrifically managed! I'm happy to recommend them.

When I got to the desk, they pulled it up, under their nose. The woman was folding clothes very nicely on the counter I was at. No mask, no gloves, didn't see her wipe anything before she serviced me or went back to clothes. No plexiglass or divider either. I'd be livid if my clean clothes were folded on the public cash register counter with no safety precautions. I'll be leaving my blanket in it's bag for a few days. I will not return and tell friends to go elsewhere. Very disappointed, especially for the price.

The goal was to find an out-of-the-way laundry mat that not too many people use. He wanted low-key, a lot of washers/dryers, and tons of space. As for me, I need clean, efficient, fast, and plenty of parking. Finally, we drove past Soap & Suds, which was on the same road as Walmart across the street from Aldis. It is in a perfect plaza. The Plaza itself has a pizza spot, a liquor store, and a hair salon. To its right, there is a Dunkin' Donuts and a nail salon. After almost a year of continued visits, I have found my laundry matt. I now utilize their drop of services. So far, I have been able to drop off and pick up the SAME DAY! Wow! What a convenience when you are always on the go and need fast and reliable service. However, do keep in mind that there is only one representative on the clock. He is a kind man with a warm smile. The laundry mat has a bathroom for customers only and plenty of seating. The parking lot is enormous, though hard to exit from, as it is located off a central strip with constant fast-moving traffic. In the snow, it can be slippery and and perhaps a bit dangerous.
