Didn't start my first day well. Had problems with my navigator, yet they had a grace time period. The lady on the phone was nice. Checking in electronically was awkward. I was given a tablet after my phone check in had complications. Front desk was so so yet personable. The staff was nice. The bathrooms were clean. My visit to the doctor was good. I was happy to get assistance immediately for my problems with a misaligned hip and other things I have left untreated for many years. read more

I began coming to CovenantCare about a year and a half ago or so ago after my previous PCP was sadly diagnosed with Alzheimer's leaving patients to hastily find other doctors. I chose CovenantCare because of an old friend that finds her care at CovenantCare satisfactory. In late Feb through Mar, I was in Orlando, FL while my very first grandchild was being born. That's a 12 hr drive from my home in TN, and my first grandchild had to be life flighted within hours of birth to another hospital. None of the above is the fault of CovenantCare. But what is, I've been very upfront and honest about my mental health. I've suffered from clinical depression for well over half of my life. I was talking Prozac (fluoxetine) before and during that time....and I am now. The trouble was, the person I was entrusting my health to at that time, was Jewell Kaylor. She's a NP at CovenantCare, and was in complete control of my meds for my emotional health/depression. I had to extend my stay in Florida. My daughter was in toxic shock in ICU, and my grandson was in another hospital. That's the most stressed I've EVER been, hands down, in all my years. A couple of days after being in Florida, I was running out of Prozac. I called Covenant Care and was told I'd have to come in the office for an appointment first. I was there the month before! I asked to speak to the nurse. She called me back the next day, and told the same thing. First off, I haven't taken a narcotic for anything in the last few years, and I don't take anything that's addictive, unless my two seizure meds are...Topamax and Lamictal. I've been on them for over 25 years, and KNOW they aren't. Sorry it's too late to make a long story short, but not being able to get my Prozac because of the above seemed cruel to me. This was March 2020 and Covid restrictions were in place, as well as telehealth appointments, not offered by them at the time, but strongly advised by President Trump and Dr. Fauci. Sooooo, I realize I don't personally know a lot of people that read my reviews, but I DO know they are read and appreciated a LOT. I'm brutally honest. Lastly, take care of your mental health. Your family practitioner is more trained to help you than in the past, so start there. Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, you're not alone. Find help. Life can become a new better normal for you too. They are so slow !! Not sure why they continually run an hour behind your appointment time. They close for an hour at lunch, open at 1:00 in all respects starting fresh and on time and when my appointment is at 2:00, I expect them to not be an hour late already?? read more

Absolute piece of crap practice. My son has had an issue for the last year that I addressed with them. The first thing they did was blood work and tried ruling other causes. Ok, great. The issue didn't resolve, so they decided to do an ultrasound. Great. The results came back as 'concerning' so we they said to come back in 4 months for another ultrasound. Then when we went in for it, they said there was no order for it.... And there is nothing they can do for me. Come back for ANOTHER appointment to make the order. Done. They say Tennova will call me to do an ultrasound. Never happens. I call covenant care back again to get an ultrasound. They finally schedule it. I had to work the day of the ultrasound, so my son went with my wife. They did the ultrasound on the WRONG AREA. We go in for the follow-up. The only reason I know it was the wrong area is the NP is feeling around on my son in the area close, but doesn't touch the problem area. I have to physically show her there is a hard lump behind his ear. She admits they didn't check it. She then refers me to an ENT and washes her hands off the issue.... I have to call the office and tell them I want an ultrasound on the correct area. The process repeats itself. I have to call every day to try and get any answers each time we go in. The medical receptionist apologized every time I call bc she realizes they are botching his care. She puts in urgent messages each time. I get a call 2 days ago that they finally have the ultrasound results. I go to the portal and they're the results from December 2023. The message is dated 6/19. I go to the office bc I am really just over it. All I want is my son's medical results. They say they're not there. I ask why did they call me. No answers. I start crying bc I'm scared and frustrated and this place is a HOT MESS. The lady in the back wanted to talk me. Ok fine. I go back there and she tells me....they don't have the results. I raise my voice and ask her why she even called me back there She says she wanted to know why I was crying. I lost it. I'm not going to lie. I told her this place is a piece of s$&t and their incompetence is astounding. This post is long boring and frustrating, but I promise you the months and money and time that we committed to this practice is even more so. Do NOT take your family there if they have more than a cold. Even that may be beyond their capabilities. read more

Really bad energy in this place from Front staff to providers . No respect for People time , literally can hear them gossiping in the hall when you are in the room . Something just doesn't sit well , I don't think they like each other or their jobs . Made me feel bad for being happy when the energy returned is so negative . Also sent my lab to out of network lab , twice ! the second time After I aksed them to only use in network labs , 68 Copay for out of network lab which again I asked did not have this issue until 2 years ago there is in network lab available I checked ? Pretty much sense nobody really knows what to do but the we don't like our jobs or patients vibe real strong here . read more

You're nothing but a number to them, saw my provider today for literally 2 mins and I'm pretty sure she looked at me 1 or 2 times. The rest of the time she just looked at her computer. They don't care about you or look at you as an individual they just go by their script. Will definitely not be back. read more

I wish I could give this practice less than one star. For a practice that claims to be "dedicated to fulfilling this mission for our patients and team", they really need to reconsider their employees. After begging to be seen, Kathryn Scoville, refused to see me for my appointment because I was ten minutes late. I work over an hour away and had to take two hours off of work to have an appointment I was denied for. The receptionists both asked her multiple times and apparently her personal desire to leave work early superseded my medical need to be seen by a APRN. They told me she cancelled my appointment the second the grace period of 10 minutes had been met. Her license should be reconsidered for not honoring the hippocratic oath and putting leaving early on a Friday over servicing the needs of a patient. Found another primary care physician immediately after this experience. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I would look elsewhere for a primary healthcare provided. The only thing I need a PCP for on a regular basis is my medications. I have been on my same medications for years with no changes whatsoever, because of this the doctors give me 6 month refills at a time which I refill every month. Every 6 months though trying to get my refills renewed is like pulling teeth. I make refill requests on the patient portal which are ignored, I call in a leave a message which can take up to 72hrs for a call back and my calls are NEVER returned. Then every time I called to talk to someone and try and figure out what is going on I am told "I'm sorry Sir but I'm just an appointment scheduler and can't do anything about your issue, you'll have to talk to your doctor". When I am finally able to get a hold of my doctor they want me to pay $50 out of pocket for a Telehealth FaceTime appointment that literally takes 2-3 minutes, then it might take another couple minutes to send the prescriptions over, so that's $50 for 5 minutes of work just to simply have my prescriptions renewed and then I still have to pay the pharmacy for my actual medications. Not to mention my prescriptions have been sent to the wrong pharmacy multiple times and also I have told the doctors multiple times that I ONLY take the CAPSULE version of my medication, NOT THE TABLET VERSION. There is a difference as the tablet hcl version is not absorbed through the blood brain barrier as effectively as the capsule version with the powder inside. This place is a complete joke. I'm not doing this every six months anymore, I don't have time for Covenant Care and their games, they need to change their name to Incompetent Care because that's exactly what they are. I will be picking up my records and finding a new PCP today. I really wish I could give them half a star because they don't even deserve a full single star! read more

Absolutely incompetent. I show up on time to my 8:30 a.m. appt only to be told that my Dr. is not in today. This morning I received a text confirming my appointment as I was driving in. The receptionist tells me that I as called Tuesday to cancel. No, I was not contacted at all. Furthermore, I was here Tuesday to sign the information authorization from previous Dr. To new Dr. No one said anything at that time about a cancelation. So I have to wait 30 minutes to speak to a Manager. Meanwhile, A group of people laughing, having a good time in the adjacent room. What a joke of a business. I am then texted for my upcoming appointment at 11:15 a.m. Almost 3 hours later than my original appointment. Group in the next room still laughing like the funniest thing they ever heard. If they were trying there best and were shorthanded, I would understand.. But no, FUN is there motto! Not Customer service, not accurate scheduling, not accurate communication. Doctors are like a revolving door which is very concerning, nobody knows what the left hand is doing and nobody knows what the right hand is doing! Scheduling an appointment is fairly easy and straightforward. We see Ms. Amber, PA-C and she is great! She is very caring, through and attentive and strives to go above & beyond which is so appreciated. The nurses are also friendly and do a great job explaining to the children what's happening when their vitals are being taken!! read more

Employees and provider just there to tick the boxes. Office nurse, not registration staff or non medical, aloof, passive aggressive, sarcastic and poorly groomed. Basic service. Nothing more. I'm not sure where to go in Clarksville where there truly is seamless, insightful professionals with access to healthcare that doesn't require hoop jumping thru technology and enduring flippant staff. This clinic is absolutely horrible. They sent me for a chest x-ray that I had done at 7:30 a.m. on a Tuesday morning. By Friday morning, no one had bothered to call me or provide results from my x-ray. I was only prescribed cough pearls, nothing else. My symptoms continued to worsen for three days. Friday I finally picked up the results myself from the hospital and went to an urgent care where I received the medications I needed to get better. I called and spoke with a manager at Covenant Care, who said they had my x-ray results the same day I had the x-ray, but they needed up to 72 hours to read the results. This place is horrific. I have read some of the reviews for this clinic, and I'm kind of shocked. I had one of the best experiences I have ever had with the staff, doctors, the entire process. My doctor is Doctor Wilson, I have suffered for 3 months trying to fight off an infection and following my previous doctor's orders. Dr. Wilson prescribed me a medication that knocked it out in 2 days! To top that, Dr. Wilson listened to every single one of my concerns, and they were long. I am so happy to have found covenant care at this location, close to home with the most friendly staff I've dealt with in healthcare, and believe me I've been to many facilities. I cannot recommend covenant care and Dr. Wilson more, if I could give it six stars I would. Special shout-out to Amy and April, the insurance people, and the front desk. Outstanding! read more

As a single hardworking mother of 1 with no insurance this place is a lifesaver! I normally don't ever go to the doctor unless I am pretty sick, usually with a sinus infection or something like that. Before my mother told me about covenant family I always went to doctors care, but never again! I can, on a normal basis, go to covenant family pay my private pay and get my prescriptions for less than just my private pay at doctors care. Since I don't have insurance the doctors always see if they have samples before writing the prescription. If they don't have samples they always make sure they dispense something that will be affordable. Everyone from the front desk staff to the doctors are incredibly nice and helpful. The feel of the doctors office isn't like a doctors office. It feels like home and very comfortable. It's clean and the only downside to this doctors office is they are usually busy, but it's understandable. read more

Horrible service! They have a patient portal which is hardly ever utilized by the staff. I have not seen my test results, as I'm to take the doctor's word. I have requested prescriptions via the portal, and they are ignored. When prescribing a new prescription that I was never discussed, they call it into the wrong pharmacy. The staff is uncaring and blow off the phones. If I didn't require medications, I would run! read more

The lobby is beautiful. Most of the staff is welcoming. Typical health professionals... there were times that my visits seemed rushed... And another big tid bit I absolutely dislike about the set up of this office is the examination tables are placed right in front of the door which is centered around the workstation of the other staff. So imagine being undressed from the waist down with a thin sheet of paper to cover with your feet up in stir-ups as the door opens for the whole world to see you as the staff go in and out of the exam room. Talk about HIPPA violation. Needles to say I'm considering changing providers all together. read more

Covenant Care has been my primary care office for over 2 years now, and always feel welcome here. I usually see Dr. Abegaile Denison, who is thorough, caring, but still will get you in and out on time, but I have seen other providers when I am being seen for an acute reason. If you walk-in, you may have to wait, but that is just like anywhere else. The girls up front are helpful, and the nurses are knowledgable. Covenant Care also takes most insurances. If you're not sure if they're in network, just give the office a call and the staff will help you find that out. read more

Doctors are ok - no real complaints there, but when the $100.00 office visit appears as $150.00 my bill numerous times, I can't get any explanation. They told me that they were "incidental" charges. I wanted to know what those "incidental charges" were, Instead of addressing my concerns, I started getting harassing calls from a collection agency along with an extra $132 charge for referring me to collections. I'm happy to pay what I owe, but is it too much to ask what it is I'm supposedly paying for? read more

If I could give them zero stars i would. I have been a patient for 3 years and have not been able to see the same Dr. more that 2 times because they end up leaving the clinic after a couple months. Seems to be a very high turn over rate for Dr. If you would like a medical practice that you can develop a relationship with your Doctor then covenant is not the place. If you don't mind waiting hours in the waiting room, rude staff, seeing a different doctor every appointment, difficultly getting someone on the phone then covenant is for you. read more

I have listened to this place tell my daughter she is caller 4 with a 4 minute wait time...when she became caller 2, I listened as the wait time changed from 2 minutes, to 4 to 5 to 7 to 9 minutes; her entire time was actually 20 minutes of waiting. When it comes to phone service, this places is horrible because their wait times are HIGHLY inaccurate. She's been waiting on a referral; the first exasperating wait was over a year for a test result and this time is over 3 weeks for physical therapy referral. I have advised my daughter that she needs to find a different provider. read more

Hit or Miss. The walk-in practice is definitely a complete miss. I've been there enough times and had dingbat diagnoses for the simplest of illnesses. The problem is they have UNSUPERVISED PAs and NPs making and treating the diagnoses. Those types of medical workers are SUPPOSED to be SUPERVISED, but Covenant Care falls short in that respect. As far as the doctors there, I've had a pretty good experience. Problem is you can never see them unless you schedule an appointment at least two weeks in advance. Well, I need to see them when I have a sinus infection right now, but I have to walk-in and see their incompetent PAs and NPs who will either misdiagnose, or fail to properly treat my simple illness... Think I'm gonna start going to Walgreen's for that stuff... Seriously! OH, and don't get me started on their receptionists or billing staff! Receptionists are complete snobs, and just pray you never have any billing issues because they are the most condescending people in the world... As a whole, Covenant Care just doesn't even meet average expectations for level of care. I'd suggest you find somewhere else for your Primary Care needs... read more

Every one is great. The staff goes beyond the call of duty to assist you. Jewell Kaylor NP is the best.

They are slow to respond to any and all requests including refills of maintenance prescriptions. They will send you for expensive and invasive procedures before trying the basic stuff. Worst of all they can't handle insurance. I fought with them for over a year about $130.00 that my insurance wanted to pay, but they would never send the insurance company simple information they requested after several attempts by the insurance company and myself. Now they have turned it over for collection. I'll pay it with a BIG MIDDLE FINGER and good riddance. read more

I was very pleased with my first visit to Covenant Care. My new doctor Dr. Moore make me feel welcomed and did not rush the visit. He and his staff are very willing to work with me. I am a Veteran and still want to maintain my relationship with the VA. This proposes no issues With Covenant Care like other local Clarksville doctors. read more

Asked a couple of questions and sent me on my way. No examination or anything. I have,on numerous occasions, heard them discussing patients diagnosis and personalities. I should have left long ago, but liked the doctor. I have never had an appointment here where I have been seen on time. Expect to wait 30 minutes or longer past your appointment time to be seen. If they happen to call you back early, you just end up waiting in the back room for a while waiting on the doctor, so take a good book or something to do while you're waiting. You will have plenty of time. My 2 stars were given to reflect their friendly and pleasant front-office staff. read more

They are rude at best, incompetant at worst. They seem OK until you tell them your in pain, then they treat you like a drug addict. They will not prescribe any painkillers period. They prescribe newer muscle relaxer drugs that are designed to have no recreational use, unfortunately these drug have little to no healing effect. Worse they are hard on your liver, and in my case interacted badly with other drugs they knew I was taking. I almost died and have been in pain every day, all day, for 3 months. Donald Black is rude, dismissive, and should practice in a prison. But, we have laws against cruel and unusual punishment. I am going to get a second opinion and if at all possible I will sue. read more

I had been going to covenant care for 3 years, as well as my 4 boys and husband. We like some of the doctors, mostly the PA's, however their bill department is a mess. We have tricare, - shouldn't be any issue, but they keep billing as standard rather than the prime plan we have. Last time I went there, they would not allow me to see my provider to fill a prescription that was running out. As someone who has a seizure disorder, if I don't stop medications correctly, I could be in trouble. The staff did not seem to care that I needed my prescription and would not let me talk to the provider or his assistant until the balance was paid. Please note here that all they needed to do was re-send the bill the correct way so the insurance could pay. Dr Boles did not seem to care as I left him a message and he never responded back. I am looking for another provider right now, they are going to loose all 6 of us because of the way they are running this place. What a shame... and to know that they are called Covenant Care, and advertise being having a Christian background! What a shame!!! read more
