I was not welcomed when I entered the lobby but instead the front desk clerk said, "Our computers are down so I cannot check you in." with a frown and a grunt. I waited and waited, observing that indeed their system was back up. I approached the desk with my ID and insurance card but she flatly told me "you have to complete all the forms online and you did not do that..." No, I did not do that because I would rather fill out the forms with old fashioned pen and ink. When I stated that she went in the back to get the Nurse Practitioner who told me I was being 'rude and obnoxious'? Huh? I am 60 years old, I have numerous advanced educational degrees and was not feeling too great. No other clients were in the lobby. I said "I did not come here to fight with you, I just want to be seen..." She didn't care. I was told to behave better or I would be ejected from their facilities! Well, I filled out the form, gave my payment to the clerk and clicked the pen on the counter. Wrong thing to do! Apparently I clicked the pen rudely. Those 2 whispered and huddled together and I was told to leave! I have been previously to this same facility with no problems. Staff and management change? I went over the the Ascension Urgent Care on Memorial Blvd and had a very pleasant experience, which greatly improved my day. Oh, by the way, they thought I was very sweet!

One nurse took my blood pressure, about 5 minutes later about nurse came in to give me the test. She was very nice, asked a few questions.. swabbed the inside of my nose and checked the back of my throat. She said results should come back about 48 hours. I know it was already about 7:30pm when I finished. Their office closes at 8pm. The lady at the front desk did not give an invoice when I left. I give this location 3 stars for overall experience. It was a very clean lobby area but it did not feel welcoming.

We're very glad we took the recommendation! Located about 15-20 minutes from Nashville, this place isn't your average "urgent care". As soon as you walk in, you're met with a warm, homey kind of feel with a very friendly receptionist to help you get checked in. Instead of the typical plastic office chairs you'd see, they have comfortable lounge chairs and sofas to sit in while you wait. Everything was extremely clean and well put together. Even the patient rooms have a nice, homey touch with bathroom type sinks instead of the typical hospital sinks. Our nurse and doctor in call, Jordan, were both very friendly and helpful. We were able to get my fianceè blood work and a bunch of other tests I was surprised they could do on site. They are very upfront, honest and extremely helpful throughout. I'll definitely be going there next time I need to go to an urgent care (hopefully that's not anytime soon!)

I finally had to tell him that I graduated from Vanderbilt and this is not normal diarrhea and the cramping is not the type of pain that I am used to when I do have diarrhea. I asked if they did testing for cyclosporiasis and he said he did not know what it was. I paid 130 dollars for him to try and scoot me out of the door with some imodium before ever listening to what issues I had, what food I had eaten or anything. I had to tell him that when I had appendicitis the cramping was far worse than this but this cramping pain is definitely not something I experience regularly. He brushed it off and said I should try the health department. He wrote me a prescription for antibiotics. I won't take them until I can get tested for the parasite.

There is usually only a short wait (less than 20 min) and I've been impressed with Dr Wolfe Sidberry and her partners there. I have used other walk on clinics and many are terrible. Dr Wolfe Sidberry is fast, efficient, and doesn't pull punches - good things in my book, but some may want a chit chattier manner. I prefer her style because she gets me well each time and doesn't ever waste my time. Outside of basic colds my daughter and I have used her for vaccinations, blood work, blood pressure management, removal of a tiny sty (that another doctors wanted to require general anesthetic for on my girl!), and successful treatment of a staph infection. I endorse Brentwood Family Care for its capable, efficient medical service to the community.

Walking in, I was immediately met with a barrage of paperwork focused on billing--making sure charges are clear to them, not to you. Not exactly the warmest introduction for someone seeking mental health support. The next interaction was just as impersonal. After giving my name, I was directed to step on a scale and provide measurements--no introduction, no explanation, no basic courtesy. It felt more like processing inventory than welcoming a person. Then came the actual "care" session. The provider launched into a rapid-fire explanation of all the ways the clinic can bill you, delivered with the energy of a fast-talking sitcom character. She shared that she knew I had already been given all of those details though just wanted to recap again. Then, she told me why she thought I was there which was not accurate. I asked her to slow down and please take the time to have dialogue instead of talking at me. She never asked meaningful questions or or make a genuine attempt to understand why I was there, which made any real conversation about mental health impossible. Overall, the experience felt dismissive, disinterested, and transactional from start to finish. The caregiver, in particular, seemed better suited to a role with minimal human interaction - perhaps guarding an empty museum wing, because meaningful engagement was clearly not part of the approach. I am genuinely appalled and disturbed this clinic presents itself as having any aptitude in mental health care. None of them demonstrated an ounce of intellectual curiosity or communication skills which should be critical in caregiving roles.

Dr. Kyrzynske's nurses are professional andcompassionate. I've never felt rushed as they gather information, review medications, or make notes for Dr. Kurzynske's review. But, it is Dr. Kurzynske who makes one feel like a real person with real value with real issues. He listens attentively, probes to ascertain issues, is not rebuffed by questions, and makes his patients feel like they've been heard and receiving the best medical attention and actions that a primary care physician could offer. He is knowledgeable and trusted to be current in that knowledge. He views patients as whole persons, physically, mentally, and emotionally. He sees the patient in context of their circumstances (i.e., impacted by needs resulting from work and family situations). His compassion is real and comforting. He is forthright in positive and helpful ways. His sense of humor is appreciated. Dr. Kurzynske is one in a billion!

Has no medical knowledge or recommendations when asked. Women in the office are all overweight and rude except for one. Save yourself the headache and do not go here. If you practice health, you should at least attempt to appear healthy. Dr Pak knows nothing about health.

My current doctor just could not take care of it and literally said to me he didn't know what else he could do for me. 30 days of different treatments (that would be plural, yes there were multiple treatments) and nothing my current doctor did helped me. One visit to the Knolls Clinic and seeing Dr. Cai again within a day I was on the mend. And in 3 days I was well. So I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Cai and the Knolls Clinic. I proceeded to show my confirmation email and was told to wait. 30 minutes later Dr. Oruganti met me in the lobby accusing me of not having a confirmed appointment and that her online system wasn't working. Somehow she was making it seem like this was my fault and told me I'd have to wait "who knows how long" before I could see her because her books were full. If I did not have a confirmed appointment that her system informed me was CONFIRMED, I would not have driven all the way from Lebanon to see her. The worst part was, she provided no solution and only made it seem like it was my fault there was a mistake. (rudely and in front of everyone in the lobby, I should mention.) If I were you, I would steer clear of this practice, I sure am.
