Although my daughter was only taken care of by Covenant for a short while, we were very pleased with her caregivers --- especially Lindsey and Britanny. Lindsey texted me , late at night, on her "free time," because she knew i was worried about my daughter. And Brittany was very sweet and helpful to us, when our loved one was leaving Florida and would no longer be under the care of Covenant. I have a very dear friend in this care and we are most disappointed in the equipment service. The nurse, social worker and pastor have all been fantastic and very caring. It's the equipment service that has been lacking. They brought her a hospital bed on a Friday and the first mattress wouldn't blow up. She slept on the bars for three nights because of the faulty mattress. On that Monday they brought another mattress at 6pm that night. We had to move her to replace and make up the bed. That one lasted maybe a week. She is back to sleeping on the bars. We had to add a pillow beneath her bottom and a thick quilt to make it passable to sleep. Again we are waiting for another mattress since last week. This is Tuesday! It seems that no amount of calling to Pensacola helps to get her the equipment. This is Tuesday and she is still waiting for help - a new bed or a better mattress. I am so disappointed that a company/service that advertises being caring and giving comfort for the last days of a person's life is so callous to her comfort. This has not been comfortable for her to spend her days and nights in an inadequate bed. read more

This company has been taking care of my mother for a year and a half. We have had several experiences with my mother's medications not getting ordered, nurse aides not showing up, nurses struggling to insert her catheters, and nurses not following up or calling back when there is an issue. I am not sure what to say other than I am very sad that this company doesn't seem to have their act together. Very sad for their patients and their families. read more
