They have been very helpful and very kind. I was seen today for an x-ray and the front desk ladies were phenomenal extremely welcoming. The technician was also above and beyond being very kind and personable. I had insurance and I used to go to LabCor and Quest . You had to wait sometimes for quite a while. Quest was the worst. If you walked in, every 15 minutes they would bump you and let the next 15 minute appointments go ahead of you and move you down the list over and over . Anyways, when I lost my insurance, I ran my bloodwork prescription by them and they were outrageous. Florida lab has a chart. I can walk in and show my prescription and she can tell me upfront what it will cost. They are definitely cheaper than the other 2 .In the past, I couldn't afford the whole bloodwork list and they let me get just the most important ones that my dr would need the most. They take debit and credit , I think even Money orders, but they do not take cash. They've open Monday through Friday 7am to 4:30 pm. Staff is very friendly and they know what they're doing

To the point of wondering if I was in some sort of AI simulation. Over and over again telling me a referral had to be in her computer to a. Answer my questions, b. Make an appointment (we have a ppo that does not require referrals) and wouldn't tell me where to get one. The ER writing follow up with a neurologist seemed like that would be referring us to neurology. Talked to the ER today and they said they could get me a copy of the records to take to them but had no idea how to get a referral into their computer. The insurance company gave me the same thing VA had: a list of practices. The practice calls them to verify coverage not the other way around. Did she mean authorization? I'll never know. She would not stop talking over me to ask. I can't let anyone I know who needs neurology go into that den of madness. And my misunderstanding of the process I can accept. Not having the skills at the receptionist desk for a call to walk someone through the process in a doctor's office is really not acceptable. They are the interface with the doctors & system. Unfortunately the only other practices in town were 3-4 months out. We have to drive to Tallahassee to be seen. Infuriating.
