Not your typical winery scenery but we had the best experience!! Melissa took care of us and did a fantastic job. Symphony, Sangiovese, and rasberry mocha port were my personal favorites!

We had an Amazing time with Melissa! Groupon on a cold and windy day! We loved it!!!!! Must try! Small and Quaint!

I was extremely disappointed with my visit to this winery, the wines I tasted were all oxidized and vinegary and when I pointed this out to the girl doing the tasting, she tasted it herself and said it was alright. The Chardonnay didn't taste like a chard at all, it was actually a bit tart almost sour, considering I was the first visitor of the day the wines should have been fresh bottles but none of the ones I tried were fresh in any sense of the word. The young girl was a wealth of information and knew her product (they use grape juices purchased from MD and other areas) but that's about it. They also do an array of sweet "Mist" wines that are more like wine spritzers and taste like one base wine was used with flavoring added. When I tasted their "award-winning" Raspberry Port, again something was off with it but she was just like... "well... its good for baking brownies." I want to drink wine, not buy baking ingredients... *heavy sigh* I really tried to give this winery a chance especially after visiting a similar winery that was sort of the same ramshackle cheap setting... but my open mind did nothing for the lackadaisical unprofessional tasting. BTW, did I mention they like to say they are the oldest winery (making wine for more than 10 years) in Southern Maryland... then why do they look and taste like a start-up?? Overall, just another tourist attraction, not a serious winery obviously, so don't use this winery as a basis to judge Maryland wines.

A very small boutique winery. We used a Groupon, bought for $11 for a tasting for two, tasted 12 wines, and got two free glasses. What a deal! We had a great time. Only had a few tables outside but at least they were undercover. They have 3 whites, 6 reds, and at least 12 fruit wines. We thought the reds were better than the whites, but the fruit wines were excellent. We actually bought a bottle of white raspberry and white sangria. The Groupon also gave us 15% off each bottle.

This is a place that has a good variety of wine. Customer service was poor. Tight space.

There are many places to lounge outside and listen to live music and enjoy the view. Inside is quite small, only fits enough for maybe one group at a time but is delightfully decorated and very clean. My friend and I chose to do the full tasting of wines from the vineyard. All of the whites and the rose were really refreshing and delicious. I was not a fan of the reds, however, I have yet to find an MD red wine that I enjoy, so maybe it's me. The ONLY reason this does not get 5 starts is the limited food selection. They do sell pre-packaged hummus, cheese and crackers as well as packaged cured meats from a little fridge inside the winery, however I would love to see this expand into a bigger selection and/or food trucks on site. All in all my favorite part of this experience (aside from the beautiful grounds) was the Wine Slushy. I got strawberry one and it was fantastic!!

I love that the employees are so engaging including the owners, Callie and Brad, who always stop by to check on patrons no matter how busy things are. I really appreciate this type of customer service. My last visit we tried the mulled wine which was really good. As they described it, it's "Christmas in a cup." I had to get my favorite wine, Lion's Share! I'm sad that they're closing up for the season soon. If you've never been, I believe this upcoming weekend (December 13th and 14th) is their final weekend so make a reservation if you want to go.

Waitress was prompt and ran through all the different offerings. Most of us did the sweet flight. It was very nice. Kind of mild. But the sangria... 10 out of 10. I wish I could have bottled that up and took it with me. The food was good, but it did take a while to get it out to the table. We arrived maybe around 3 and the kitchen closed at 4 and we got our food like 345. There was a $600 minimum for the glasshouse. We had to keep adding items to get to that minimum, this place is nicely affordable. Sad news, you can't frolic through the vineyeard, not even for a quick pic. Still a lovely day spent.
