Norwalk Cove Marina offers 18 holes of miniature golf for $9 per adult. You won't find any windmills, loop-de-loops, or other fun obstacles on this course; rather, rocks placed in the middle of holes, "bunkers" and "rough" (made of longer artificial grasses), and the slopes and bricks shaping each hole are what will challenge your score. In a sense, it's a much more golf-like version of miniature golf that tests good putters who can plan their shots and use good touch to get putts close. And the staff has kept the course in good shape. While I enjoyed the challenge, I feel like there is a missed opportunity here to make this course really fun and memorable. Not many mini-golf courses are located on a marina, so even if there were more boat/ocean/anchor/seashell-type decorations around the course (even if management didn't want to change the layout of the course), I think it would feel more enjoyable. read more

Gorgeous Marina with great amenities. We were invited to a summer birthday party here and it exceeded all the expectations we had. The mini golf course was well groomed and fun for adults and kids alike. The shaded area was a welcome reprieve from the scorching sun. If it wasn't so hot that day we would've loved to have taken advantage of the playground and beach area. Since it's not too far from NYC, it looks like we are going to add this spot on our list of places to come back to one day soon! read more

My son and I had a perfect round of mini golf here! I would recommend coming at night, as there is not much coverage from the sun. The course is well-maintained and challenging. I went there with my 13 year old nephew and niece and we had a ball. The experience was immaculate. The music selection was extraordinary and the cleanliness was on point. There was only 2 downsides. First was the flags in each hole. It gave my nephew fiber glass splinters. And the second was some of the holes needed more challenge and excitement. Yes I got it, this place looks a little bit older, but in a town icon type feel - but everything is pretty well maintained. Super cheap, super fun, and super accessible to the beach! We almost always do mini golf when we go away for a while. This was that stop. It isn't far from the water and is indeed inside a marina. The grounds were very clean and there was reasonably good music playing which could be heard all over the course. A group of children started playing behind us and were so out of control (their adult didn't say or do anything to correct any of them), that we let them play through...which took about 10 seconds since they weren't actually playing a game. We like more showy mini golf setups. Kitch, windmills, and that sort of thing. That said, it seemed a bit too $$ for something that basic. We did have fun though. read more

Small mini golf course but was a lot of fun would recommend if you want to have 20-30 mins of fun with friends or significant other.

I have lots of memories from this place - I believe I had my 5th birthday party here. It was getting to be a bit run down but I'm happy to say over the past couple years they have really cleaned the place up. They re-vamped the entire course and took out a lot of the old obstacles (windmill, curly-q, etc) and put more current/modern obstacles in the way, like rough, "sand" traps, and wooden posts. I'm certainly not a mini golf junkie, and Cove Marina is certainly not one of those crazy courses with waterfalls and bridges and props decorating the course. But, for $5, you golf 18 holes, look out at the ocean, and are actually quite challenged (though one of us did get two holes in ones.. But I'm chalking that up to skill (luck), rather than easy course design). The course is clean, people friendly, and a very cheap date night. Traveling through the state with some friends and we wanted to stop somewhere after a long drive. It was a beautiful day, we found this mini golf place by the beach, thought why not. It's a small course, not very exciting, good for families and small groups. We were a group of 5, horsing around. We were surrounded by families with young kids, and they were going through the course pretty quickly. Did I mention my friends and I were horsing around? When families were right on top of us, we let them play through us so they wouldn't have to wait. All in all, it was fun. Then we went into town and had lunch. Something to note though: the parking for the beach is $30. The very small area right outside this mini golf course is the parking for the golf course and it's free. We didn't realize, went through to the beach area, and paid $30 to park for 90 minutes. read more

I moved to Norwalk during the course's "dirty" phase ... but it reopened a few summers ago and it looks great. My wife and I have played here a number of times. It's really well lit, has plenty of parking and it's a blast for $5. I've gone here on double dates, and I plan to bring my son when he's old enough ... even if I move away from Norwalk someday! read more

Good for family outing in a beautiful area, but course itself is a little boring. Would love to see staff intervene when a group is taking 10x as long as is normal/acceptable so that other groups are not stuck waiting. We had multiple holes where 3 parties were waiting. read more

I love Cove mini golf! It is a beautiful course right next to the LI sound and the plantings are well maintained. The only drawback I can see is not having more obstacles/automated attractions, as the course is relatively lacking when compared with other courses. However, IMO at $5 pp you can't really beat it on a beautiful summer evening! read more
