There wasn't a single hiccup, and it is a day we will cherish and remember for the rest of our lives. Danya is absolutely incredible and guides you through every step of the wedding planning process. She is patient, kind, and genuinely invested in bringing your vision to life. She made me feel heard every step of the way and helped turn my dreams into reality. The venue itself is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and located in a stunning setting. The staff at Occasions went above and beyond to make both my husband and me feel like royalty. If I needed anything at all, a staff member was already there and ready to help before I even had to ask. One of the things we appreciated most about Occasions was their flexibility. Unlike many venues, they allowed us to choose most of our own vendors and were very accommodating when it came to the decor and personal touches we wanted to incorporate. We even wanted to do a T-shirt toss during our reception, and they fully embraced the idea! The vendors they do require you to use (bar, catering, DJ, and bakery) were all outstanding. Every single one exceeded our expectations and truly represented the best of the best. Having those vendors already selected by the venue took away so much of the stress that comes with wedding planning. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be and more, and it would not have been the same without Occasions at Laguna Village, Danya, and their amazing staff. We will look back on that day for the rest of our lives with so much gratitude, and we will always be thankful that we chose this venue. We cannot recommend Occasions enough.

Dayna was our wedding producer and was the biggest help from the day we signed the paper. She made sure we checked all the boxes, even things outside of the venues direct responsibly, just to make it as easy on us as possible. We had multiple check ins and she was always open to answer questions via text or phone when we had them. She gave us tons of photo recommendation, took pictures throughout our rehearsal and wedding, and made sure we all were where we needed to be. Andrew with the Cliff restaurant was easy to communicate with and was very nice when we came in for our tasting. We tried a large variety of foods that were hard to pick from because they were all so good! We had great reviews of the food after the wedding and they were great about minding all allergens and dietary restrictions. The crab cakes, goat cheese crostinis and chicken curry skewers were all amazing hors d'oeuvres. The veggies and salad fresh and flavorful and of course our chicken and salmon were really really delicious. They take care of all set up of table, chairs, decorations, ceremony, reception, cocktail hour and everything in between. They gave us tons of freedom to do our wedding the way we wanted and it felt so seamless, I never had to stop and make a decision or handle any problems the whole night. Whether there were any snags, I have no idea, that's how great a job everyone did. All the staff were great! 100% recommend.

This hotel is a handful of steps from the most perfect beachfront where a day of play in the sand with little ones is as picturesque as any Pacific Ocean view can get. Don't forget to make a reservation or go up early to one of the hotel's restaurants where a delightful menu will satisfy your culinary cravings. Last but not least, nothing beats a beautiful view of blue ocean waves as you turn down for the night. The rooms are modern and designed with just the right touch of coastal chic.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. During my stay, my vehicle was…read moredamaged while parked in the hotel's parking lot. When I reported the incident, I expected at least a professional investigation and clear communication. Unfortunately, neither was provided. The most frustrating part was the lack of communication from hotel management. I had to follow up seven separate times before receiving any meaningful response regarding my claim. Even then, the information I received was inconsistent and contradictory. One hotel associate told me that security cameras were being reviewed, while another later informed me that there are no cameras in the parking lot at all. This lack of coordination and transparency made an already stressful situation even worse. When the hotel finally responded, they pointed to a limited liability disclaimer allegedly printed on the parking placard. However, the placard I was given was already torn when I received it, and I was never asked to read, acknowledge, or sign anything related to parking liability. Using a damaged placard as evidence that guests were properly informed feels misleading and raises serious concerns about how these policies are communicated. While I understand that hotels may have policies limiting liability, I expected better security measures, more professional communication, and a genuine effort to assist a guest whose property was damaged on-site. Instead, I encountered delays, conflicting information, and a complete lack of accountability. Based on this experience, I would strongly encourage future guests to exercise caution when parking here and to carefully document the condition of their vehicle and any parking materials they receive. The hotel's handling of this situation has left me with little confidence in its commitment to guest service and customer care.

I loved seeing the sculpture that will be at Burning Man this year. The garden is on the smaller size for a botanical garden (some stuff was under maintenance while we were there) but the gardens were impeccable. My favorite part was all the dahlias. Stunning! Your entry ticket ($12 for adults) also includes admission to the library, which had a bonsai area and some fun history. We were able to easily find free parking nearby. All the staff was so friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the work. I definitely recommend this spot! Such a beautiful, relaxing space.

Beautiful still. We came the day before Mother's Day for the rose show. Looking forward to coming back when construction completes because at $5 admission that is kind of a rip for how much is there. It took us longer because I recognized someone at the rose show and my son is really into plants but for an average person I'd say 30-45 min is really how much is there right now until they finish the remodel
