I drove here from Los Angeles to meet an electrician at 2:00, who never showed. Apparently the woman who books the appointments, who is the person I scheduled my appointment with, never added my appointment to the schedule. read more

Called on a Sunday for an elderly couple. Service was prompt and courteous. Hector was the technician. He was thorough and explained issues very well. read more

We had a little emergency on Sunday morning and Hector (Cove Electric) came over right on time and was able to troubleshoot the problem within an hour and fixed other little issues at the same time! We could not be happier! Hector will be our electrician from now on! Thx so much! read more

I am so impressed with Cove Electric. They were quick to respond to my house situation where the electricity was shut down. Hector came over quickly and assess the situation. Amber, in the front office, was instrumental in securing permits and scheduling the repair. Both Hector and Javier worked tirelessly to install the new electrical panel. Call them for any electrical work. You will not be disappointed. read more

Hector and Amanda (who coordinates the appointments) do a fantastic job. Hector is extremely friendly, thorough and completes the work in a timely manner with a great attitude, professionalism and a positive attitude. The repairs were completed and lights installed, GFI covers were fixed and replaced. If you need anything related to electrical work or repairs Cove Electric does the job perfect and at a fair price. Thank you so very much! read more

On time and great customer service and the tech was very honest and nice! It was a easy job but will be a returning customer

Hector was amazing! I had several electricians try to fix some lights that wouldn't turn on, and he was the only one who figured it out. I highly recommend Cove electric and will definitely use them again! read more

This is my second time using Cove Electric and both times the scheduling team has been incredibly pleasant and willing to help with finding the next closest date that fit into my busy schedule. Had the pleasure of working with Hector who was quick to evaluate my requests and was able to thoroughly address all of my concerns. I will continue to use Cove Electric in the future and would highly recommend to others as well. read more

They were very competitive on pricing and very responsive on their work. I would use them again

These guys are bloody expensive. Charged me $547 to install a swag lamp - probably took no more than an hour and a half. Must be more competitive help. read more

Had initial issues but owner was professional and followed up. I will follow up after they complete work.

Minus 10 Stars. PLEASE READ this review before hiring this company. Oversight and mistake in work can happen but the Lack of Principle when it comes to addressing that mistake which potentially caused a bigger problem to the customer's property is not acceptable. We had LED retrofitting work done on the 9 parking lot light poles with Cove about 2 years ago. About a year ago, the first light pole went dead. Then recently all except 2 went dead. My general contractor took a look at them and found out all the sockets holding the new LED light bulbs were burnt and/or cracked. (Obviously the sockets holding the heavy light bulbs are not compatible with the bulbs and have been deteriorating and cracking slowly over the 2 years) Our other Centers in LA had the same work done with other electric companies 6 years ago and they are still completely intact. I called Cove and explained the situation and told them I am even willing to pay for the labor and the parts to correct what appears to be their oversight if they come out and take a look at their work. (***These poles stood intact over 40 years other than rare minor things PRIOR TO COVE). Cove kept repeating that ONE YEAR WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED and insisted and argued that they have to charge me something like $185 first 30 min and so on no matter what just to inspect the cause. The point is, Cove should at least offer to waive the inspection fee if upon inspection the problem is in fact caused by their original oversight/mistake. I understand that mistakes can happen but why hire a company in my opinion that takes priority in money over the principle and the professionalism when there are other companies with better skills and principles. BTW, I had another contractor replace those flimsy burnt and broken sockets with new sturdy kinds and the poles are back to working. This extra costly expense along with the headache, wasting time and breath could've been all avoided if I hired another company and NOT COVE 2 years ago. Maybe for the long run, it was better that another company attended this mess created by Cove anyway. Lack of skill, not even a bit apologetic (if anything rude), and greedy. Extremely annoyed with Cove with this mess and the extra big expense they have caused me BUT MOST OF ALL WITH THEIR RIDICULOUS RESPONSE. INCOMPETENT and UNREASONABLE read more

Called Cove Electric first thing this morning half our power in the office was out. Gordon was here in an hour or less he checked everything to see what the issue was. He found the problem in less then 1 hour and fixed our lights so we could conduct or business for the day. Gordon was very polite and let us know everything he was doing. I would highly recommend this company and we will be calling them for any future issues. Thank you Gordon and Cove Electric for all your help read more

I had a Zinsco electrical panel replaced in my 1940's house to meet new codes and today's life style for energy use. I contracted with Cove Electric. Chris oversaw the project which required City of LQ license and inspection, IID and material orders. He kept me informed throughout the process and secured all contacts in order to expedite the project without glitches. The process required the power shut off for most of the day until final city inspection. A special shout out to Chris and Todd, (another Cove electrician) who worked all day in hot temperatures. Both were extremely polite and thorough with the task and clean-up. I would certainly contact Cove Electric for future electrical needs. read more

We were so happy with Cove Electric and especially their electrician Gordon. He had to come out 3 different times to fix our major problem and he was kind, polite and hard working. I'm not one to write very many "good" reviews; as I'm more to instantly grab my phone, go straight to yelp and warn people from a business from my bad experience. Not this time! I was having lots of flickering lights, and some lights shutting off in other rooms of my house. Having to work during the day, and my children coming home from school, I felt uneasy about lights flickering. I called Cove Electric, and they instantly had someone out that fit around my schedule. Very professional, and made me feel comfortable knowing that they had fixed the problem. I will DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone who needs them!! read more

I am very disappointed in these people. My very close friend is 95 and is living on a fixed income, and is definitely not made of money. Her lamp post was not working, and needed it fixed. They told her it needed a new wire run from the house to the post, and it would cost $580 to fix it. They did not offer any cheaper alternatives. I hate when a company tries to gouge poor innocent people who can't afford things. I fixed the problem for $80 by putting in a solar light. They could have suggested this cheaper alternative but didn't. read more

Cove electric is a wonderful service provider. We worked with Gordon who was very honest and helpful and advised us professionally the work was not need. Great person to work with. read more

Recently purchased a home in Palm Desert that had a number of wiring issues and needed 2 ceiling fan boxes installed in the bedrooms. Gordon from Cove arrived on time, as promised and repaired all the faults, which were many and installed the ceiling boxes for the fans. He was very careful to protect our flooring and cleaned up after the job was done. Gordon is very personable, friendly and very knowledgable. Some times you get service people in your home and you just want them gone...not with Gordon...he was great and if we need service in the future we will definitely be calling Cove Electric and requesting Gordon. read more

We found this company by chance by spotting their van while they were working at a house in La Quinta. After their work there, they came by and gave us a quote for installing three ceiling fans. The work was completed yesterday, and I have to say that he did a great job. Justin was very meticulous and very conscientious by covering the furniture so as not to make a mess, and a spotless cleanup too. I would highly recommend this company. read more
